Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

Kinda saw that coming. All new questions are coming up now. And ABC doesn't have to worry about Michelle Rodriguez's jail time either. They are roping everyone in just in time for the end of the season.

So is Michael one of them now, or is he still just trying to get Walt back?

Wow...what an ending! :yow2:

Of course with the blond chick getting killed as well...at least I assume she's dead (I've heard she's suppose to co-star in some CBS comedy next fall)...I wonder if we will ever learn why she was in the mental hospital at the same time as Hurley?

I think he's only doing it in order to get Walt back. Probably the Others caught him and told him that if he doesn't set "Henry" free, then he'll never see Walt again. I'm assuming they gave him some sort of tight deadline, which is why he had to take such drastic actions. He shot himself at the end, I'm also assuming, in order to make it look like there was a struggle. By the beginning of next week's episode, I imagine "Henry" will be long gone.

I wouldn't conclude so quickly that Libby is dead. Going by the whole purgatory theory, it makes sense that Analucia was ready to move on, and hence she died, b/c she had the whole reconciliation/realization that her past ways of dealing with problems were wrong. However, with Libby, how did she come to any reconciliation? She was in the episode very little, and was primarily being led around by her new boyfriend Hurley. I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if she's still around in next week's and later episodes.

it was alluded to early in the episode that the others were none to pleased with anna-lucia, especially after she killed one of them. Perhaps Michael had specific orders to kill her, but libby was an unfortunate casualty.
The question is whether or not the others are as poorly armed and unprepared as michael says, or if it is a trap of some sort.

She took 3 or 4 shots to the body. Can't imagine she survives that. I'm hoping Hurley is so torn up about her death that he jumps off a cliff and kills himself. I don't think his character adds anything to the show.

Okay this might be completly to the point where they couldn't do it, if you remember she said she was going to get a blanket...and she was on a picnic..maybethere was something under the blanket that would have deflected the shots enough that she will just be knocked out/in a coma. Thus michaels story of there beign a struggle is still there while she is in a coma, but she isn't dead. Or.........the writer got pissed of at the two of them ( Her and Rodriguiz) and killed them off).

It makes sense not in an article I read this past week when the director said that Rodriguiz starting her jail time (she chose going to jail over community service) wouldn't effect any shooting schedules for the show. He also said that he has had the show ending known from the beginning, and he just hasn't decided when he will end it yet, and that he adds and takes things away all the time throughout the script writing.

She was only shot twice.

Also, does everybody here actually believe that Michael was trying to save Walt, or does the leader of the Others have some kind of mind control/hypnosis/etc. power that forced Michael to do that? I just keep going back to the earlier part in the show where Henry said that the leader of the Others was "a Great man...a GREAT man."

Okay notice right after she got shot you hear liquir of some sort hitting the ground.....Water or maybe wine for the picnic?

You not only hear the wine hitting the ground, but you also see it (remember--she said that she and Hurley needed wine for the picnic and Hurley made some comment about getting drunk). I distinctly remember the camera focusing in on some liquid following her getting shot. Trust me, she's not going to be dead--killing her off right now would fail to comport w/the whole purgatory idea.

On another note, I notice that Hurley gets a pretty bad rap around here. I actually like his character--he's one of the few people on the island who IMO is a "good person." If there's any character that irritates me, it's Charlie b/c he's so darn mistake-prone and yet he's too stupid to realize it, so he continues to try to involve himself in things.

A lesson for actresses to not drink and drive. They were both arrested the same night in early December, and now their characters were both shot. Coincidence?

Two 'Lost' actresses nabbed in DUI cases

HONOLULU (AP) — Two cast members of the hit ABC series Lost were released on $500 bail each after being charged Thursday with driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Ana Lucia, and Cynthia Watros, who portrays Libby, were arrested in separate cars within 15 minutes of each other in Kailua after they were spotted weaving on Pali Highway, which connects Kailua and Honolulu, police said. Both women failed field sobriety tests, they said.
