Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

Does anyone else think it's a little odd that Hurley thinks that Libby seems familiar from somewhere, yet he can't seem to figure out from where? It's not like he was totally crazy when he was in the mental hospital; indeed, in the flashback episode, he seemed to be quite with it. Additionally, I imagine Libby was probably the best looking girl in the mental hospital by far. Is he really that clueless that the fact that her hair used to be brown but now is blond totally throws him off track?

Hugo was probably too busy talking to his imaginary friend and stuffing his face to notice any women. What's his fat ass going to do with a woman anyway?

Details, however, are about as mysterious and convoluted as the plot of the island castaway drama. The "Lost Experience" will be Internet-based and will feature a parallel story line that is not part of the TV show.
It will begin May 2 in the United Kingdom, May 3 in the U.S. and May 6 in Australia. There is no winning prize, but the experience will offer clues that could unlock some of the island's many secrets.
"It's like a giant, worldwide mysterious jigsaw puzzle that will come to life for all the world to solve," Mike Benson, senior vice president of marketing for ABC Entertainment, said in a statement.
What is known about the challenge is that it includes the introduction of new characters and the mysterious Hanso Foundation. The first clue requires finding a toll-free number that will be released during the show or commercial breaks.
Clues will vary by continent, so participants will benefit from coordinating their information. ABC said the game is designed to appeal to both fans and people unfamiliar with "Lost."

`Lost' actress chooses jail over community service
JAYMES SONG

Associated Press

HONOLULU - "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez surrendered to authorities Tuesday to begin a five-day jail sentence for drunken driving.

Rodriguez, who portrays police officer Ana Lucia, opted for jail time and a $500 fine rather than 240 hours of community service.

"I kind of have to get back to my life, go back to making some money," Rodriguez said outside the courtroom after pleading guilty to driving under the influence. "It kind of gave me a hard hit."

The 27-year-old Rodriguez and cast member Cynthia Watros were both charged with drunken driving after they were pulled over Dec. 1 in separate cars within 15 minutes of each other.

On Tuesday, District Judge James Dannenberg gave Rodriguez the option of jail time or community service. She surrendered to authorities at Kaneohe District Court later in the day.

Choosing jail over community service was a "personal choice," said her attorney, Steve Barta.

"I would suspect that because she has a hard time even going out for a meal without being intruded upon for an autograph or photograph, it's really difficult for her to do community service," he said.

Rodriguez said she wasn't worried about her future on "Lost."

Carrying three books and dressed casually in a tank top and sweats, she arrived at the court building hours after pleading guilty to turn herself in. She hid from cameras as she was driven away by state sheriff deputies.

Watros, who plays Libby on the ABC castaway drama, pleaded guilty to drunken driving in January and was fined $312, ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and 14 hours of counseling. She also had her license suspended for 90 days.

Prosecutors were seeking the maximum fine of $1,500 and 14 days in jail for Rodriguez because of a previous DUI conviction. But the judge gave her the minimum fine for a repeat offender.

Rodriguez was also credited with one day served for the time she spent in jail following the arrest.

She said she was given the proper sentence.

"I'm human," she said.

Barta accused prosecutors for being overly aggressive because it was Rodriguez.

"They don't do that for the rest of us, but I guess they felt they wanted to take advantage of her celebrity status," Barta said. "But at the end of the day, what came out is the court does treat everybody the same, even if the prosecution doesn't."

Both Rodriguez and Watros were spotted weaving on a road in Kailua, on the island of Oahu, where "Lost" is filmed. Both failed field sobriety tests.

Rodriguez recorded a blood-alcohol level of 0.145 percent, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08. Watros had a blood-alcohol level of 0.10.

Soon after, Rodriguez underwent weekly therapy sessions and spent two weeks in an inpatient rehab clinic, her lawyer said. "She did recognize there was an issue to be dealt with. She, on her own, took care of it," he said.

In 2004, Rodriguez pleaded no contest in Los Angeles to three traffic violations, including drunken driving. She completed a three-month alcohol program and is serving a three-year probation term.

When asked by a reporter if she would drink and drive again, Rodriguez replied: "That's kind of a dumb question. C'mon now."

ABC spokesman Jeff Fordis said there would be no disruptions for "Lost." The season finale is being filmed this week and production is scheduled to be completed by May 5.
