Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

I thought last night's episode was easily the best one of this season.

Things weren't dragged out much at all. Ecko had a dream, went looking for the '?', actually found it, and we got to see the training tape for Pearl. Looked like another missing section of tape near the end, of course.

And Libby died, although she only managed to say "Michael" instead of "Michael shot me".

Has anybody checked out the web site in the 'fake' commercial last night? It sounded similar to 'subliminal', but was spelled differently.

Good episode, but I'm not sure how much I like the whole "dream message" stuff. It was kind of "Twin Peaks"-esque which isn't necessarily a good thing. It's still been a good season outside of the fact we haven't seen Evangeline Lilly in enough revealing outfits.

I don't think they found the '?' area on the map. I believe the Pearl hatch is one of the six that surround the '?' in which experiments were being conducted.

Interesting theory. It did say that Pearl was '5 of 6' on the training tape. It also had a 1980 date on the end of it, which is how old I thought the computers were.

But the '?' was marked by the hatch. And the hatch had 6 monitors, or one for each of the other sites.

And I'm guessing that the pneumatic tube sends those notebooks to an empty room where they just pile up - since nobody was ever there to read them. :wink2:

I assumed the pneumatic tubes went to the '?' were everything is/was being monitored. Remember, there was a camera in the Pearl hatch as well.

As further evidence of the Pearl not being the '?', the Swan orientation video said there were six areas of research being conducted by the Dharma initiative: meteorology, zoology, psychology, parapsychology, electromagnetism, and utopian societies. I believe the Pearl, as hatch 5 of 6 was conducting the psychology research.

I agree. The pearl wasn't the main question mark, but rather was one of the outlying nodes in the picture that Locke drew. When Mr. Ecko was at the top of that cliff, he saw a circle imprinted in the grass, not a question mark.

Reacting to complaints from devoted fans of ``Lost,'' its complex, serialized Wednesday night drama, ABC also announced Tuesday that next season, the show will air without repeats. Stephen McPherson, the network's entertainment president, said it will run seven episodes in the fall and then turn over that time slot (9 p.m.) to the new ``Day Break'' starring Taye Diggs until ``Lost'' returns in February to finish out the season.
