Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

Another fine episode. Next week looks to be possibly the most revealing of the season but you know new issues will arise to keep us hanging. I liked the format of the show last night where they flashed back to Michael and the Others and not of the characters life before the island.

BKB, I think you were right about the boat being Desmond's. I saw a preview last night that had Locke yelling at Desmond, telling him that the hatch isn't real and it doesn't matter if you press the button.

You my friend are a super sleuth. I also told your lovely wife to go out and pick you up some Bells... We'll see what happes with that

It was a great season finale tonight.

We got to see the effects of not pushing the button. A lot of the Desmond era answered mysteries of the hatch. Sawyer, Kate, and Jack were all taken hostage, and Michael (finally) found Walt.

Also, is Desmond's love the daughter of someone who is behind the whole island? The ending was strange.

There was so much that went on I probably skipped a whole lot. They left off a lot to begine season three with.

I absolutely love this show, but it's also frustrating to watch b/c every week I tune in to get answers, yet I just get more questions.

1) What exactly was going on when the button wasn't pushed? What was that white light? And why did the Others seem as defenseless against it as the survivors did?

2) What was up with that ending? Who were those guys? Why are they in the middle of Siberia? Why are they monitoring what happens on the island which is obviously thousands of miles away? And why are they to call Desmond's girlfriend when something goes wrong with on the island with the button pushing?

3) Will Michael really leave everyone behind? Why is it so easy to leave the island but apparently impossible to get back (according to Henry)?

4) How did Henry rise to the level of apparently being the leader of the Others?

Those are just some of the questions I have. I liked tonight's episode, but I was hoping there would be some more questions answered...

I think Desmond's girlfriend was simply looking for Desmond. Early in the show, one of the flashbacks (when Desmond was getting ready to run steps) he asks how did you find me, and she said I have money. Well, here's what I'm thinking. Des goes off on his yacht race, she's got a GPS on him. He disappears one day in some remote area of the Pacific. (Think Bermuda Triangle) So, she gets these Russians to monitor some area of the Pacific for any "anomolies" which might give a hint as to where Desmond disappeared.

The problem will be getting there. Michael had to leave the Island on a very specific heading, and my thinking is to get to it (or "see" it) you have to be very particular as well.... Unless you arrive by accident, apparently.
