What is your exercise routine?

April through Oct., bicycling, every other day, 20 miles at altitude, 7400ft.
Nov. Dec., gym, 30 min. lifecycle, then curls and bench press.
Jan. through March, skiing at 10500 ft. at Taos Ski Valley.

Weighted jump rope then dumbbells then crunches with the latter two at a quick enough pace that my heart rate doesn't drop too much from the jump rope cardio. And trying to take 10K steps a day.

Eating? I only worry about gout foods. How much do I drink? Too much.

Before the pandemic I was hiking once or twice a day. During the pandemic I increased my hikes/walks to 2 and 3 a day depending on "conditions". I'm on my second pair of shoes and second pair of insoles. In addition to the lockdowns I have had to deal with wildfire smoke and foot/leg injuries. But it's great to get outside and have even a brief social distance talk with my neighbors. Weight has gone down and up and down.

10K steps and DDP yoga every day. 55 pounds down since 9/1.

That's solid work. I don't know where you started but that is close to the pace that I was on earlier this year. I've kinda plateaued down 60 lbs. Typical day involves me getting lead around by my apple watch. I have a move goal of 850 calories as a minimum and generally strive for 1000 move calories. That gets me about 3000 total calories a day of burn. I generally do a 35 minute elliptical workout + three 12 minute sprints on a Matrix erg. That generally gets me about 600 calories of my 1000 and the extra 400 comes from either coaching or just moving around during the day.

All of the cardio has been good for dropping weight. Next goal is redistribution. Have to start putting the free weights to work this winter.

Keep up the great work. If you're anything like me... it is work. I really don't like to exercise for exercise sake.
