What Brands Are You Loyal To?

Well I put myself on the Allen Edmonds email list. If the stars line up, we might be able to do some business. Meantime I need something for pretty off the beaten path.

If at all possible, go into a store and get fitted for AE. Thank me now for the saved time of doing am exchange. And the store guys can get you any sales amd discounts available even if they appear to be for the website only.

Boom Done, @AKAK ! Crockett & Jones in indestructible black roughout (waxed) suede with commando soles for 480 US. They're not factory seconds. Company is a licensed C&J dealer that--unlike Crockett--ships to the US ex-VAT and free DHL Express shipping. I bought the Skyfall and the No Time To Die boots from this company. They're great. Let me know, and I'll put you in touch with my gal there, and she'll walk you through the last and how it will size to your foot.

Man, thanks for looking out for me. But I really don't think I would be able to cross the mucking those up Rubicon. Especially in Suede.

(If Allen Edmonds had their Rangers in my size in closeout, it would be a done deal)

It's waxed suede, same as my No Time To Die boots. Trust me, man. Mucking them up is exactly what this stuff is made for. They shave down the nap of the suede and then wax it. This isn't fancy lad suede. Plus they have a waterproof storm welt that little bit of leather that flaps back outwards above the welt. This shit is meant to stalk and kill shit......clad in tweed and Barbour or not.

Thanks, I'm going to try to get out to the local place that carries them here in the next few weeks (its much farther than AE) but I have a iist of stuff I need to acquire and I'm going to kind of do it month by month, boots are January so I still have some colder weather to tramp around in them.

Rangers are long gone. I bought the two matching belts during the close out for like 30 clams each. Check out the factory seconds selection. My Park Avenues are "seconds," I can't begin to see why. If there is something glaringly wrong with them, you can return them I believe.

299 for this is pretty phenomenal. It's the boot that I almost bought instead of my Pattons, and I'm still not sure I made the right choice.

Had the Islays out for about two hours in the snow today doing Islay shit. That's on one of the walkways. Most of what we walked through was ankle depth snow with some mud underneath when we ended up on one of the baseball infields. Got home and took them off, and my socks were bone dry Wiped off the mud, put the trees in and left them to dry. They'll get a pig bristle brush and be back to new. Those Conistons damned well meet your hunting needs, @AKAK .

Hopefully followed by throwing on your velvet smoking jacket while holding a single malt.
