Wrong glass, Sir.
I had a guy then I didn't so thanks for the heads up. I'll look into it.
I do like those shoes though.
Get yourself some Crocketts; you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely do NOT buy them from Loake's official site. I just went there and added something to the cart and went to check out seeing if they would remove the VAT. Not only did they not remove the VAT but they threw a little juice onto the conversion as 292 pounds became $465 instead of $392, and then they tried to add Illinois sales tax on top of it, which is a scam because I'm pretty sure they don't have a brick and mortar presence in Chicago. The boots ended up being $513. At that price point, you could just get Crockett & Jones ex-VAT, with free shipping and an honest currency conversion from Bodiley's.
I'm sure if you looked into it, you could find one of their retailers in the UK who'll sell ex-vat and ship to the US.
My Dyson has lasted forever
They skipped from S10 to S20.Did my five year phone trade in. I buy a top of the line Samsung and then hang onto it until at least two of three things start happening. All three things were in play.
- Noticeable slowdown
- Battery on its way out (quickly losing charge while charging back up really quickly)
- My last year to get a decent trade in on it (it was down to 200 clams and only on a Galaxy)
So, I went from an S7 to an S21 today. Doesn't seem like fourteen years. Let's see how long this motherfucker lasts me.
Miele seems worthy. I did a mid-level canister style, and it's clearly the best vacuum that I've owned. The problem is that the new pup, whose the sweetest most well-socialized dog in the world, has determined that it's her mortal enemy: barking, growling and even lunging to try and bite it.

My hunch is, similar to the vacuum, she would think it really really sucks.I was going to ask what you thought. We've been rocking a Hoover Wind Tunnel for well over a decade. It's a beast, but it's about time to retire it and the wife wants a Miele canister-style.
I wonder how it would go over if I bought it and put it under the tree for Christmas...
