After watching the video, I have to concur that Pete Carroll is a complete douche. Its one thing to call a play-action play to run up the score on your rival (which is, of course, undeniable). Its another to act like the score just wonyou the Super Bowl; point across the field at the opposing counsel; and then pretend as if you care that the players are about to fight about it.

Total hypocrisy. I hope Ohio State fans continue to remember how lucky we are to have a class act in Tressel.

You call timeouts when the other team is taking a knee, and I don't care what they do to you. Carroll was a little crazy on the sideline after the completion, but UCLA deserved what they got there.

Don't get the "Carroll is a douche/classless/ahole" stuff. Guy is one of the best in the business at giving back to the community and helping people. Im still puzzled as to why OSU fans hate this guy. Is it because he smiles and has fun on the sideline with his kids?

No, Neuheisal deserved what he got. Pete Carroll failed to recognize that fact. He thinks its him vs. the other coach. Its not.

And then to act like a 12-year-old playing a Madden game afterwards just exemplifies what kind of coach he has been over the years. I'd think that even if he didn't bitch, moan and whine about what Harbaugh did to him.

You either have class or you don't. Sorry, but Pete Carroll doesn't have it.

And yet there's two major differences:

1. Tressel didn't act like a child when it happened.

2. Tressel didn't bitch about having the score run up on him by an opponent within a month before it happened.

Right. And then Tressel acted like a [censored]ing idiot about it. Like it was some huge game and our players freaked out like it even matters. Pete Carroll is a [censored]ing joke. USC with all that talent, but not many wins and not much class. I'm glad you're irrelevant this year.

How you gonna bitch about getting the score run up on you and then do that the next week and take it a step furthur? What a hypocritical douche bag. Way to really be a man Pete.

Except that Carroll hasn't bitched about it:


After Gerhart's third touchdown, Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh even attempted a 2-point conversion, but USC stopped the try at the goal line.


Harbaugh's explanation for trying to pile on a couple more points: "I just honestly thought there was an opportunity coming off the ball, the way our backs were running and the way we were playing."


Said Carroll: "I don't know what they were thinking with that, but in that situation, they get to do whatever they want."
