USC 28, UCLA 7 (final)

I pretty much expected Pete to throw it up after the TO, but the useless dbag jumping up and down and then trying to stare down UCLA and the team jumping up and down was the ridiculous part. Throw up a bomb? Fine, whatever, but don't act like that on the sidelines and then act like you're all concerned about a fight when you were the cause of it.

That's my problem with Petey. Act like you're 'having fun' and 'care free' until it happens to you and then its all 'What's your problem'. Then turn around and do the same thing in the next game that just pissed you off. Reminds me of a five year old.

Maybe I'm off base, but USC is starting to remind me of Miami.

I guess after SC's run over the past couple years, you have to take what you can get, even if it is making a mountain out of a 2-loss vs. 3-loss spread and hiding a head-to-head loss behind it.

How am I hiding it? I don't care if you beat us earlier. We're in the Rose Bowl while your classy team is freaking out like it accomplished something by throwing that deep ball with 50 seconds left. The only thing that USC accomplished was making their team look like a bunch of losers and douches. And the Head Coach who the week before was asking "what's wrong with you?" is being a complete hypocrite asshole by turning around and doing the same thing the next week. For real, good job of him showing how big of a man you are Pete.

Oh come on. He wasn't sharing recipes with Harbaugh after the game. And the one comment he did make pretty much speaks below the surface for what he thought about it.

Don't tell me the sky is green too.

Happy about it? Certainly not. But he hasn't, as some have accused, whined about it.

He may not have whined in the media, but the widely-reported "What's your deal?" comment to Harbaugh post-game gives the impression of hypocsisy, even moreso when compared to his elation after the 48-yard TD yesterday.

Difference being PC didn't do something to goad Harbaugh into doing what he did other than be the big boy on the block.

Neuheisel egged PC on with the TO.

Apples and oranges imo.

It's a friggin timeout. You really think a timeout deserved that circus?

Yes the TO deserved some retribution in my opinion.

USC made the play and then from what I saw it was the UCLA crew that crossed to field to escalate things. Yes Pete was going out of his way to be annoying but I wasn't watching the game at that point, was he acting that way before Neuhiesel called the time out?

To quote the movie, I think slick Rick played with the bull and got the horns. :wink2:

I think lost in all this is that is exactly what slick rick wanted, some bad blood and drama. If winning isn't an option it's the next best thing to heat up a rivalry I guess.

We talk about punchable faces in other threads, well Slick Rick could piss off the Pope.
