University of Wisconsin football (59-0: Deal With It ... or Quit)

What if the cult put the time and energy that they already spend into being a cult toward something more constructive? Like... building a stationary nuke in the basement of one of their laboratories that is timed to explode in 3 seconds?

I still say the endgame is to set them and ISIS at each other's throats and profit.

Maybe a 409 festooned 'Merican burns a Koran while a turbaned guy pisses on joes grave (all on video of course)?

Erroneous. BWI has already figured it out that GA came to realize that the deck is stacked against any team not named Ohio State or Michigan and left to get away from this corrupt league and officials. That's the saner view over there. The other theory is that after the league conpsiracy to throw the BCG, Nebraska hired Reilly specifically so that GA would have an opening out West to take. Think about it.

  • Osborne and Alvarez are both on the committee and would have known what Ohio State needed to do to jump the b12 schools
  • Osborne still pulls the Cornstrings
  • Alvarez and Delaney order Anderson to throw the championship game in spectacular fashion with the promise that a job out West will open up for him.
  • Osborne orders Corn AD and President to fire Pelini and hire Reilly.

The Wild cars is how do they get a PAC school to cooperate?
  • Oregon State President, Ed Ray, spent most of his career at?................OHIO STATE!
  • Oregon State AD, Bod De Carolis, was both a coach and athletic department official at?................MICHIGAN

Did they drug Stave and perform crap LASIK on him so he threw all those picks?

I've never been to Oregon, so can't say other than seeing the numbers.

in Louisiana we get our rain steadily over the course of the year. several inches (3-4) every month with peaking in the summer months (6-8).
it usually comes in 2-3 day spurts, most of the year. summer time we get a lot of afternoon showers just early enough for the sun to bake us into a sauna when it quits raining.

It's not the quantity, but instead the duration. It drizzles for fucking-ever. It's a grey, depressing situation for those not native. Louisiana is nothing like that from what I've been told.

x2 muffler... spent years in Seattle - place actually gets less rainfall than most cities, but it comes in a constant drizzle and very few clear sunny days. Though I think it's only depressing for visitors -- I loved that weather. Overcast with moisture was a thousand times better than altitude and dry in Colorado. That said if you go North into British Colombia... for whatever reason they get torrential downfalls up there. That was way too much rain.
The Gulf coast has dog days and it'll rain with a black flag sun beating down on you, which a lot of people complain about too. The taxi driver from Pcola to NATTC claimed it caused suicides in the same kind of way I've heard pop culture call Pacific NW weather "depressing" - not that there's any truth to either claim. Anyway, the Gulf seems to get most of their rain in afternoon showers. It'll rain hard and steady for an hour or so and be done for the day.

I've always wondered how they explain TTUN being so bad for years running now? Wouldn't the Conference have protected Hoke etc.?

I'm beginning to think Wisconsin could fall back into the West Division pack unless they start to look for a new AD. Barry may have been a real asset as a coach, but I have a feeling as AD he's still trying to be the FB head coach. Having 2 successful coaches leaving that quickly should be a red flag. Then bringing in a coach from his own tree ....

I don't think it's so much "still trying to be the FB head coach" as "these are the basic tenets of the offense that have made us successful and you will stick to them."

Still, I have trouble viewing "AD has too big of a shadow" as a legitimate complaint that often. You know who casts a small shadow? The parade of whimpering losers that Illinois has had running their pathetic programs for the past three decades. Sometimes I complain about having Barry as an AD, then I remember watching Bob Bowlsby wipe piddle from the inside of his leg as he hems-and-haws over even the most mundane decision, and it's not so bad.
