One thing I like about the Yankees and Dodgers, they don't fuck around with their unis. Probably the only thing I like about them, but that's another issue.

Since Nike is going through both a "Matte" finish phase and "Chrome" phase, I've given up and accepted the fact that Ohio State will be in some sort of Matte-finish helmet in the future.

Aside from the once-a-year "throwback, "tribute", or "combat" uniform where the helmet is different, that ain't gonna happen. The metal-flake silver helmet is just too iconic...

I remain an optimist. Someday, in the near future, the Ohio State Buckeyes are going to take the field against Michigan in a uniform that actually matches the scarlet and gray uniform they wore during the rest of the season, or that actually matches one they wore back in some historic season.

I was thinking that too. Like a kid with a Christmas sweater from his Aunt and having to take a photo (holding it).
