UEFA Champions League (Official Thread)

FSC has been leading the bastardization charge pretty much since they went HD in 2010.

If it makes you feel better, FSC is gone later this year (becoming FS2). No word on where Eric Wynalda, McBride and all them go or if they'll stay.

Quite frankly, I wouldn't mind if FOX continued to broadcast "Sky Sports News" somewhere else.

FOX still has the Champions League for at least 1-2 more years, so they need commentators.

Favorite Champions League post-match is still Drogba.

I remember being PO'd after that match.

It's hypnotic isn't it (I still like Nigel de Jong's better):

De Jong had better form:

Finally got a chance to see it last night (and now here too). I am as big a hater of Manchester United and the American front-running fans of that team you can find. That was a yellow card.

The only thing going on behalf of the ref is he is a well-known red card giver so you do have to take that into accound.

Starting Lineups for today.

Schalke: Hildebrand, Uchida, Matip, Howedes, Kolasinac, Hoger, Neust?dter, Farfan, Draxler, Bastos & Pukki.

Galatasaray: Muslera, Riera, Dany, Semih, Eboue, Melo, Selcuk, Sneijder, Hamit, Burak & Drogba.

Schalke have the current edge with the away goals rule, although the aggregate is only 1-1.

Barcelona: Valdes, Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba, Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi & Villa

Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Mexes, Zapata, Constant, Montolivo, Ambrosini Flamini, Boateng, Niang & El Shaarawy.

AC Milan hold a 2-0 lead on aggregate heading into the Camp Nou after a dominant performance in the 1st leg. If anyone can beat Barca, it's this Milan team as they're now facing them for the 6th time in the last year & change. I think Allegri has there number as he did last year in the quarter-finals, although the ref screwed them over hard. If the 1st leg was any indication, Jori Roura will probably be out coached again as Barca are still missing the man in charge as Tito Vilanova is still recovering from his bout with cancer in New York.

Unbelievable turn of events. Niang hits the post on a breakaway only for Messi to bag another splendid goal. Level.

Milan had Barca dead to rights. If Niang scores on that one-on-one, Barca would've needed to score three to win. Instead, it's level at 2-2. Milan can still strike a decisive blow if they can get at least one. One goal for them & Barca would need two. Still not out of it, but if they get caught turning it over in there own end, which has happened quite a bit, Messi will make them pay as he already has. Going to be a highly entertaining 2nd half, that's for sure.

I'd like to see Bonera/Yepes, and Pazzini/Robinho if they are healthy.
