2025 TX CB Dorian Brew (Oregon Verbal)

Yep, Ohio State family through and through. Passed on the track pedigree in a big way. I would be shocked if he goes anywhere but OSU.
Yeah I don’t think it’s a coincidence he’s committing on his mom’s birthday, like Aaron Scott committing on his dad’s birthday knowing he’s a big OSU fan. And just two weeks after Sanchez.

Not at all. I don't get a ton of inside info, but the Dayton-area recruits I usually do. This one is a done deal. Not like Barksdale-level type of lock, but close.

Crystal ball to OSU from Kurelic.

Another prediction:

Conroe (Texas) four-star CB Dorian Brew included the Buckeyes in his top 10 schools back in November. On Monday, Ohio State recruiting insider Alex Gleitman logged a prediction in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine for Brew to commit to Ohio State.

“I grew up watching Ohio State, my mom ran track and she’s in the (Ohio State Athletics) Hall of Fame,” Brew said in June. “It’s been one of my dream schools for the longest time. It’s crazy I’m getting recruited and building that great relationship with coach Tim Walton.”

Is there something we should be worried about?

I’m a bit worried only because his mom being a Buckeye teach legend, and all the positivity from him over the last few weeks pointed towards his commitment. This is out of nowhere with little context from any of the insiders such as Birm or Tony G - Birm even admitted to having trouble in his projections this offseason. Recruiting, transfers, and NIL are moving at clip we have never seen before.

Who would be OSU competition in this one?

Who would be OSU competition in this one?

Since announcing a commitment date – and, with it, a top five of Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon and Texas – Brew has picked up offers from USC, Houston and Georgia. The Buckeyes are still likely the frontrunner for Brew at this point, but in light of the recent offers, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound cornerback wants to do a little more due diligence before shutting his recruitment down.

Absolutely nothing to worry about. Brew wants to take some visits, he let the staff know. It will probably increase his NIL package and nothing more. But he’ll be a Buckeye
Will confirm, just wanted to enjoy the process and see some other campuses. He'll be a Buckeye in due time and I can't blame him, I love going on recruiting visits when I was in HS. I would check out all the best spots before I committed to OSU publicly.
