Now Michigan’s future looks very different. Patterson is the real deal. Three years ago he was the nation’s top high school quarterback, and played very well for Ole Miss in a very tough conference. With Patterson, Michigan’s diabolically difficult schedule becomes manageable. They could get back to ten or even eleven wins this season, with more ahead.
This is a pivotal season for the Wolverines, but now they’ll be led by the most important transfer the program has ever seen.
Strength and conditioning, general development as football players...
So, they were already entering Harbaugh's put up or shut up season against a brutal schedule, and now they have this much hype about a not yet steady QB? This should end well.

You have to remember, Jax, you're talking about a group of people that were willing to pay for Tom Beaver to blow 50.1% sunshine and 49.1% percent rainbows up their can't add to 100 asses.Seriously, going back to just Rich Rod and Barwis, they have done this shit every summer.
You'd think at some point there would be at least a modicum of self awareness. That someone would have the sense god gave a billy goat, pause for a second and say to themselves "hey, this hype feels familiar" but, no, it's full on summer time hype season.
I do think we should put some extra effort into archiving this one for later schadenfreude enhancement. It feels like it could be special.

Kill me if Ohio State EVER needs to have a “most important transfer the program has ever seen”.
Michigan had great defense, but sputtered on offense, mainly due to sub-par quarterbacks. Of course, when injuries force you to use your back-up, then your back-up’s back-up, that’s gonna happen.
Why is it being ignored up there that Harbaugh is going on year 4 and has yet to have a single competent quarterback? The cupboard excuse doesn’t even work here. He should have a guy and yet, here they are gushing over a transfer saving the team at the most important position on the field. How has Harbaugh gotten that free pass?
Okay. Sub par quarterbacks is why they sucked. That’s on Harbaugh. He’s had four fucking years. Injuries forced them to use their back up. BFD. Was the “starter” any good anyway? I seriously don’t even know who the starter was. Some shitbag gets hurt and then they have to use another shitbag and suddenly, it’s that shitbag’s fault that they weren’t better on offense.
They don’t have to live there. Can’t they just vacation to reality once in a while?
