I love the excuses that hairball is cleaning up Hoke's mess - when hairball had his best success with Hoke's recruits... when 11 of those recruits got drafted... quite the 'mess' no?

Again, as everyone here seems to know, Fat Garbageman's problem wasn't necessarily in acquiring talent... it was coaching up that talent. Think a slightly thinner Cholly. Ever so slightly... but, not for lack of trying...


I just think it's "pure michigan" to argue Hoke left the cupboard bare as an excuse when A) Mr. Spectacular won with them and B) 11 of those "bare cupboard" players got drafted.

Although, it is true that there is a pretty big hole at the top of the roster, in terms of class. Which is to say, cHoke's last class and Hariball's first weren't anywhere near the top.

Blame the cupboard and not the replacement chef. Shouldn't they have upgraded to a Michelin 3 star chef for $7 million a year? The kind of guy that can make risotto out of shit. Instead, they have a moron that pours milk over his steak.

I like how they have convinced themselves the "bare cupboard" was because Hoke had the #20 class in 2014 while the #37 class in the transition year of 2015 wasn't simple Jim's fault at all.

Urban was hired November of 2011 and ended up with the #5 class for 2012.

Simple Jim was hired at the end of December 2014 and landed said #37 class for 2015.

That is quite a difference for one month considering Jimmah is supposed to be of the same recruiting caliber as Meyer and Saban.

It's pretty obvious on the field and in recruiting that Harbaugh is not as good as Meyer and, as many of us pointed out when he was hired, you simply cannot start out behind someone then expect to catch them if you can't outrun them to make up the gap.

Urban Meyer had a one lap head start in the race and is the faster runner. Only the dumbest of the DFBIA can't see how this ends.
