It's O'Korn & Speight all over again. Results may vary(but maybe not).
Thats true, but I think both Patterson and Peters are better than their counterparts. The only question is how much better. That's a pretty low standard set by okorn and Speight, so it's not really saying much that they'll be better at QB. Not to play the role of a um fan, but if their schedule was flipped (MSU and OSU at home) I actually think they'd have a shot of going to the playoff. As it's not, I don't think they do.

Patterson is, IDK about Peters though.

Peters pretty much did nothing but show he can hand the ball off and dump it off to RB/TE safety valves. I guess that's more than can be said for Korn (the overthrow king) but Speight was at least capable of that.

If it were me I’d be far more interested in fixing the OL and getting some depth in the QB room... in that order. I don’t think that Peters is a bad QB. He’s young. Regardless of who you put under center, they need to be protected and the OL needs to be able to get enough push to make the run game a threat. Not focusing on the OL is a huge miss as far as I’m concerned.

They're literally holding practices at a 5-star OL recruit's high school... I think it's their methods and what they're selling that is the issue (across all positions), not which position group they're focusing on.

I am taking into account that Peter's was a redshirt freshman and Speight was a 32 year old 9th year junior. But I would agree that it would depend on Peter's progressing.

Not for the last 13 seasons, it hasn't been. Michigan is currently in its longest conference title drought ever, matching the 13-season drought they had from 1951-1963. They have also yet to win a single division title in the seven years the B1G has had divisions.

Couldnt even manage getting into the B1G title game the year Ohio State was not eligible. Sad!
