Looks green to me - it's just a slightly different and deeper green than the turf....and the glass pane may be playing some tricks as well.Alright, I get it. The grass is green, so the end zone cannot be green.
I wonder who the other 10 B1G schools want to win the B1G CCG. An Ohio State victory likely sends Ohio State to the BCS Championship and Sparty to the Rose Bowl. Besides the conference prestige of having a B1G school playing for the BCS championship, two B1G schools in a BCS game means over $1M more for each of the other B1G schools as well as Delaney (commissioner's office).

How is scUM considered the BIG #5?

Actually, possible.
A safety incurred during a PAT (or two-point conversion attempt) counts as a single point. So if Ohio State fumbled on a two-point conversion attempt, Michigan State recovered and retreated back into the end zone where they were tackled--that would give Ohio State a one-point safety...which could end a game in 4th overtime as a one-point win.
The NCAA rule is as follows:
"On a try attempt… a Team A fumble that is recovered in the Team B end zone by Team B. RULING: Safety, award Team A one point (Rules 8-3-1 and 8-5-1)."
Here's an example of the one-point safety actually occurring...
