Man. The way he stepped into his throws you just had so much confidence that it was going to be a completion. Haven't had that in a long time.

Basically... We haven't watched either of these teams play, but here are some stats so that it looks like we know what we are talking about.

If he watched Iowa, he would have known we scored at will. Only reason it was "only" 34 points was because our defense played so poorly the first half that we barely had the ball. And Wisconsin, we played not to lose the entire fourth quarter. Would have been more than "only" 31 points there as well.

Philly Brown with trash talk.... WHY!? Just shut your mouth and play the game!

EAST LANSING — Apparently, Ohio State receiver Corey “Philly” Brown isn’t big on Michigan State’s “No Fly Zone.”

That’s the nickname the MSU defensive backfield gave itself before the season. On Tuesday during MSU’s press conference to preview Saturday’s Big Ten title game between the No. 2 Buckeyes and No. 10 Spartans, Brown tweeted: “No fly what?”

He followed that up with: “We fly whenever we please.”

Eh. They call their defense the "No Fly Zone." That in itself is "trash talking" every opponent they play. He tweeted he disagreed. I'd call this even moreso "trash talking":

Reporter: Are they (Buckeyes) still the measuring stick in this conference, in your mind?

"I wouldn't say that right now,'' Allen said. "We're the Legends (Division) champs, they have a game to play.

"We're the measuring the stick, I would say.''

The only really big games ttun fans have are big games we play in and they get to root against us. So I hope they all have their little pom poms out and are ready to shake them furiously at the tv screen on Saturday while we party our way to Pasadena. :groove:

You won't find many Michigan fans rooting for Sparty. Most of them will be watching The Big Chill and dreaming of better days.

Jeez. Philly knows better than this.

Braxton Miller and Ryan Shazier just did interviews recently on BTN and other media. They had to clean up the mess that the video of them cheering for the Alabama loss stirred.

no, not kidding. not after he overthrew Devin Smith by 5 yards. I realize we didn't have to pass against scUM, but we might want to be able to pass against Sparty.

And I probably misspoke saying Braxton might be uncomfortable, but there have been some games this year where the passing game doesn't look sharp, and then the playcalling changes. So maybe I sensed that the coaching staff was uncomfortable.

I would take this all back if Braxton goes 17 for 22 like he did a few games ago. But the Michigan game was NCG-Krenzel-like. A win is a win, but I would love to see a better passing attack than 6 for 15.
Braxton loses the hoodie and the gloves..he will be better passing because they won't be able to give up on it. They will start with dump offs but expect some middle of the field throws ..MSU plays their safeties closer to the line ..Wilson Heuerman and Philly will have chances ..
