The hornets will have 3 games under their belt by then which should make it interesting.

This game should see some determination as to who he starting point guard will be .
The choices will include Anthony Crater, Jeremie Simmons, P.J. Hill and Walter Offutt , with Crater and Simmons the apparent leaders.

Actually, I think they will only have 2 regular-season games under their belt. They play Lehigh on Monday and then will play Dayton the night before they play us. They probably will be very tired little Hornets from buzzing all around.

I hope we squash them because they can be irritating

They are one of the better MEAC teams, which means they should keep it slightly competetive until about the 12:00 mark of the 1st half.
BTW, what is wrong w/ Lauderdale? Should he be good to go for Thursday?

There is some confusion with the schedule here. ESPN, CNN/SI, ohiostatebuckeyes.com and my tickets list the game as a 6:30pm start, while the B10 Network webiste says the game is at 8:30pm (live).

Unless the BTN uses mountain time for their schedule, one of them is wrong.

They were picked third in the MEAC preseason poll. As STX said they're consistently one of the best programs in the conference for what it's worth.

They played Duke in the NCAA tourney a couple years ago and I think they have some variation of the Princeton offense

Since this is the first game of the year I belie ve the minutes will get spread to just about everyone.
I hope we get to see Mullens and Dallas in at the same time.

they played Friday (W 71-59 over Wilmington (DE) Saturday (L 67-64 to Cheyney) and Monday (L 76-58 to Lehigh)

then they play Wednesday (Dayton) and Thursday (Ohio State)

rough stretch for a team thats not so deep

They lost their leading scorer from last season when they finished 4th in the MEAC and from the scores above it looks like they might be missing him. They are predicted to finish 3rd in their conference this year. I don't think that the Buckeyes will have much difficulty with them.
