tOSU vs Delaware State 2008

I would prefer they keep Dallas out until he is 100% healthy, he's definitely going to be needed later in the season. Lighty the same way but it appears he's just a bit banged up nothing serious.

They lost their leading scorer from last season when they finished 4th in the MEAC and from the scores above it looks like they might be missing him. They are predicted to finish 3rd in their conference this year. I don't think that the Buckeyes will have much difficulty with them.

Junkie that's life on the road when you're a low major. Kyle Whelliston of mid-majority had a great article which I can't find for some reason about this. The SWAC, MEAC schools like Delaware St. are basically funding their athletic departments flying around the country playing guarantee games. Some of the schools would have traveled around 20,000 miles playing around the country.

The Hornets from what I can tell have 2 homes in OOC and they lost one to Divsion II Cheyney. Cheyney is the school John Chaney coached at before going to Temple.

Litl, Their leading scorer last year was Roy Bright. Roy was one of the last big time Huggie Bear recruits at UC who got thrown out of school for bringing a loaded gun onto campus. He was in some people's estimations with Tyree Evans (who's at Kent State now after bouncing around JUCO after getting hit some rape charges that were plead down to sexual assualt) some of the final straws that broke Huggins back.

This thursday at 8:30 pm BTN.

Thanks for posting that, I probably would have checked again, but when I looked yesterday, it was listing Women's College Basketball in that time slot. I was pretty fired up. Now it has this game listed, and my DVR is aware of the new situation. I couldn't be happier.*

*But I will be Saturday after The Game.

There is some confusion with the schedule here. ESPN, CNN/SI, ohiostatebuckeyes.com and my tickets list the game as a 6:30pm start, while the B10 Network webiste says the game is at 8:30pm (live).

Unless the BTN uses mountain time for their schedule, one of them is wrong.

+1

U-Verse shows ladies @ 6:30 as does osb.com?

I was discussing their schedule with a buddy and we both wondered when they attend class.........

They have a transfer (since "graduated") from UC who was thrown out of UC for carrying a loaded gun on campus and you wonder when the players study at Delaware State

Get on up there and get your tickets.

This is an optional game for season ticket holders and when the same offer was made last season they passed in droves.

Nothing like a game in St John - although it will likely not be rocking like it can be.

I went to the DSU-UD game tonight, and I don't think Matta will need to worry about needing Lauderdale's strength off the bench-w/ 6:54 to go in the game when I left, DSU had a grand total of 25 points, including 4 in the 2nd half. UD actually only led 28-21 at the half-their primary offensive plan was get the ball to Chris Wright for a jam in transition, the rest of the team couldn't score in a Thai whorehouse during the 1st half. UD really misses Brian Roberts' outside shooting and leadership, they are extremely inconsistent on offense.

I saw today where this game is to be played at venerable old St. Johns Arena. Check on it if you are going as I am leaving for work right now . More later if needed.

I always loved watching them play at St. Johns.

Go Buckeyes
