JT to Bosa tonight..... "You're welcome, bitch!!I will happily eat crow if Barrett lights it up tonight behind an attack that keeps MSUs defense on their heels, for the record.
See this post. I think they did that, while also wisely limiting the quantity of throws. They ran a play early in the game in which they rolled Barrett out of the pocket and Heuerman was wide open in the flats. Barrett made a bad decision and threw it to the end zone rather than taking the easy yards. I would have liked to see more plays like that while emphasizing taking the easy yards/throw.
I recognize that Barrett wasn't hitting anything in the second half- even the simple stuff, but I think getting him out of the pocket could have helped open up some passing lanes and given him one less thing (the pocket collapsing) to think about.
I'm just looking for something in between deep posts to Devin Smith and seam routes to the tight ends. I think roll outs are a nice middle ground that could be successful. If that fails then I guess it's time to throw up your hands and accept that we have a young QB and OLine paired with inconsistent WRs that make an efficient passing attack extremely difficult.
Stayed away from the message boards and sports sites this week. Tried to make time go faster for this game tonight.
Also had a rough couple days as i lost my job. A Buckeyes win would make it a whole lot better.
GO BUCKS.
Hard to answer the swarm individually.
Let's not be mindless, goofy homers. That's kind of why good journalism is out the window.
Jesus.
I think we have a really good team whose time is going to be next year, although it would be great if it was this year.Only .....I don't think so.A win tonight would be super peachy, but having a hard time seeing one.Either way-----I will stop by sometime after the game.Wishing Urb's team the best and hoping all the players come home safe.
So because I'm feeling a win based on a much improved secondary and Sparty losing a good bit defensive talent from a team that didn't blow a one dimensional tOSU out last year, I'm a goofy homer, but your doom and gloom gut feeling is perfectly legit.Great answers fellers.
CrackerJack would have yielded better.Oh....and the guy with the State Penn clip----that's precious;it's also a huge reason why I'm feeling a loss tonight.Hope not.
Wham!!!!!!! Kinda sounds like Wham too.I'll quit being a mindless goofy homer if you quit being an asshole. Deal?

I think Whodey's employer is someone Vrabel could talk to...Mike Vrabel's house was broken into and they stole his super bowl rings, apparently. Better hope the police catch them before he does. Bastards.
