I think personally Herman and Meyer have spent about half their time prepping for this game probably since the last bye. Have spent the last two showing a lot of different looks on tape... And while it didn't go well, partly because of jts knee... The second half of Penn state was partly a challenge to run between the tackles and win a game.

Point is they're gonna do what they think they can to exploit spartys tendencies on d and do what ever they can to get ballcarriers into the second level against the man defense in a lot of different ways.

I worry about Herman in the chess game aspect a lot of times. Tonight isn't one of them.

I highly doubt that. That's just not how coaches operate. Maybe instead of spending literally zero time on it like they would most teams they've spent some, but no way half of their time is on a future opponent.

Does anyone have video of the players getting hyped on the field before last year's B1G title game? They were chanting "the champ is here, the champ is here," and then Shazier yelled, "we show no mercy" and the rest of the players yelled, "everybody dies." I do not, of course, need video of the game, but I would like to watch that scene for the next 180 minutes straight.
