2024 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Ryan Day talks recruiting as Buckeyes build momentum on that front

Day on building recruiting momentum:

“Well, I think when you start to see guys jump on board and recruit each other, I think that's a sign of how things are going in recruiting. I think it's a sign of how people view the program and the culture and what's going on here. I think that’s probably what you are seeing right now. When guys are coming on these visits they're getting around our players, they're getting around our coaches, they see who we are. They see the foundation of the program here. They see not only a program that competes nationally for championships every single year, but also has a culture that you want to send your son to be a part of. And that combined with the city of Columbus, Buckeye Nation, there's a lot of excitement right now, and like you said there is momentum, you know. And I think when you mention that it's probably some of the recruits jumping on board and they recruit the other recruits to come on, because that's the great thing about committing early, you get to actually have an impact on your recruiting class and your teammates.”

If push comes to shove I do have 4 yrs of eligibility left. I'm 5'7" and 165 lbs and if running downhill I could maybe do a 6.2 forty if the wind was at my back. Though I'm pretty sure I would pull a hammy in the process. Granted, I turn 66 tomorrow, I have heart and respiratory problems along with being a type 2 diabetic. Oh yeah, and my knees are completely shot from a stellar athletic career.
But, I'm all BUCKEYE! Let's talk NIL...

It's ok live another 20 years and we'll turn you young again with science or just give you a cool robot body. Actually the latter is probably much further away but way more fun

I’m sure Epsom Salt, Depends and BenGay will provide some great NIL :smug:

If you guys had to pick one between Micah Hudson and Trader with whom would you roll? I think I personally like Hudson a little more maybe because he reminds of OBJ a bit - guy is an acroba
Ginn was a db recruit also
I was ask making the comparison. I think Ted ginn was ranked i think like 37 in hs. I don’t think I’m far or in the comparison at this point: thay being said on field I’d be ecstatic for a clone
