Sorry, dumb question, but as attrition that’s transfers, medical, early departures, etc correct? So that would mean the guys who have already early declared (Ward, Hubbs, Baker) are factored in but that’s it correct? We would need further transfers, early departures, etc to gain added spots?Feder's departure puts it at 85 as of right now
technically, any new pledge from here (22 we know of on 1/11/18) has to = 1:1 attrition
So long as we have no more than 85 players on schollie when classes start next fall we are good.Sorry, dumb question, but as attrition that’s transfers, medical, early departures, etc correct? Yeah the quality of depth at every position will be the highest it’s ever been IMO. Just look at H with Parris, McCall and Gill. That’s quiet the arsenal at one position. And that’s the case across the board.10 years ago this was not common up north (very common in the SEC). In the last five years or so, everyone has adopted it. I don't think it's a coincidence that the northern teams have been doing better on average.
Yes.
They'll get 2 DEs and try for 1-2 studs at OT. That means 2-4 more guys have to leave, because the NFL departures are probably done (Dre'Mont, Parris and Johnny were possibilities).
1. QB battle loser
2. Random off-field dismissal (for grades or behavior) - just a likelihood, nothing pending
If they miss on the OTs, then they do not need any more transfers. If they bring in more than the 2 DEs, they need more guys to leave. There are backup OL that are being passed by the talented frosh. 3 junior LBs are fighting to get into the starting lineup before Browning, Werner and the incoming Frosh make their mark. There are 4 sophomore safeties fighting for one open safety spot (with Okudah as a possibility plus 3 incoming freshmen).

So, any sense who is higher on the board? TF or JJB? Or take both? Wonder if there wasn't a bit of an ask to slow down on Friday's part.
