I fully agree! I want a way to get every top flight kid, and even some of the talented OH kids who we all know there's no room for. This class is going to be special. It's a very rare thing we are witnessing that needs to be appreciated. That said, I'm still going to be bummed at the players we won't be able to take.
Just to show had badly tOSU is killing it in recruiting, at least in the Scout rankings. We have as many top-100 commits as do the SEC's two teams combined:I was looking at the comparison with Michigan and feeling pretty good. After all, we have 10 top 100 players and four 5 star players and they have zero of either.
But man, they are KILLING us in 3 stars.
I noticed that, too. I looked on RN Football on ESPN.com following FNL and saw nothing regarding Ohio State. This was after landing a 5 star DE and a 4 star DB in the '17 class and a 4 star RB in the '18 class.Thought it was fitting that espn's top recruiting story was how UGA will push for the #1 class, this after we had landed Young and Riep. I will be shocked if they admit we have the #1 class come signing day.
I work with a guy who's a UK fan, and he's through the roof excited at what guys in OH that can't make it into the class that are now turning to UK. And now that Bowden is leaning towards UK as well, they're thinking they have another Randall Cobb. UK is a prime example of a team that could easily be in the top 25 with mostly guys that OSU couldn't fit in the 2017 classWe are unfortunately going to be forced to pass on what would otherwise make another teams class good it looks like. Teams would kill for the guys we are going to turn down. It's insane.
