tOSU Recruiting Discussion

One of only 2 unbeaten teams at home against your rival - the biggest rivalry in the sport. First year head coach with the resume like UFM. He has his QB, who is only a sophmore, in the Heisman talk. Seriously, can you ask for a better setting? Please let this be an epic beat down of tsun.

I want to see a beatdown worse than what 'Bama did to scUM. Hopefully that will propel us to the AP NC.

The two JUCO LBs are intriguing.

Definitely an interesting option. Just a guess, but I would think they are Plan B if OSU can't land Mike Mitchell and another elite guy (Trey Johnson?). If they can't get 2 pretty elite guys that are likely to make the 2 deep immediately, I could see one of the JUCOs making a lot of sense.

What a game to have a small army of recruits attend:biggrin:

Also very nice to have a dominant D and a great passing performance by Smith (14 of 18, no picks). Receiver prospects cannot complain about the QB'ing. Prospects on D cannot complain about the coaching. No prospect on offense can complain about the Urban offense. Big backs work in his offense.

FIFY!

I was really hoping Hyde would go over 1000. He missed the mark by 20, if my calculations are correct. Kid deserved it.

Great game for the BUCKS to have so many recruits at. Hopefully this sealed the deal for some.

:osu:

No doubt. In terms of some of the bigger names, Quick had to have been impressed, especially in comparison to Louisville, who lost to UConn today. I understand the hometown has a real draw, but he should have seen today that there's no comparison between the programs.

It was also nice to see some of the young guys like Adolphus and Noah Spence out there getting playing time and making big plays as true freshmen. That always helps recruiting.
