tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Given the increasing selectivity of The Ohio State University when it comes to admissions, I'd advise the parents of any fine HS senior punter to contact the football staff immediately to inquire as to the possibility of a preferred walk-on status (and the associated express lane through the admissions office).

I think I still have some eligibility left. I went for 13 quarters so counting my redshirt year can I re enroll and start practicing my punting?

You get five calendar years to play four. Sorry, as I am sure we could have used you.

...and then some additional info as well (scholarship counts and player bio stuff).

I try to do something similar with this:
https://sites.google.com/site/scholarshipbreakdown/home

which is linked from this thread: http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/football-recruiting/627376-2012-scholarship-breakdown-class.html

I like your format better. If you are interested we can delete my thread and start one with your table.* The issue is that it would need to be replaced whenever there is a change to the table (not that I have done an exemplary job of that).

I link directly to the table (which has limited formatting options) rather than post an image.

Are we positive that Grant will no longer be a LB candidate? I know I have read stuff indicating the staff was moving him but didn't know if it was set in stone yet. It's still hard for me to come to grips with not having him as a LB option considering our need and his potential. Such a bad time for him to be failing. Any hope/chance he can get another shot or do I need to come to grips? Like I said, this one is really hard for me to accept.

Looks like they're going to give Grant another shot at LBer in Spring ball.

Anyone know why Jimmy Hutchinson didn't sign with Auburn? They had verbals from him and Daniel
Carlson, with Carlson apparently place kicking and Hutchinson presumably earning punt duties. A GA kid, he can't be totally unknown.

I'm a bit surprised Urban didn't go after Walsh Jesuit's Ross Martin or Toledo's Michael Geiger in consecutive years.
