Getting in a huge hole hurt us big time this game. We could run the football and Whisky really couldn't stop us, however when they scored to go up 28-18 that put us behind the 8 ball.
We couldn't afford to run it because of too little time left on the clock.

Congrats to Bucky, because they took it to us from the start and by the time we reacted in turn we were in a huge hole. The only thing that pisses me off (other than the loss of course) is that it is starting to looking even more likely that a Boise St.-TCU NC game could be in the offing.....

Well, that was not how I wanted the night to go. Wiscy obviously outplayed us tonight. Tough to win when you spot 'em 21.

Now.....lets focus on curbstomping Purdue next week.

Kudos to Pryor for not giving up.

Kudos to Sweat for ending two Wisconsin drives, which the rest of the D had a tough time doing tonight.

Kudos for Tressel for not giving up on the game plan and giving the team a chance at the end to come back.

That said, it's time we put the whole freakin starting defense on special teams. This is just not getting it done. We need help on special teams, and seven games into the season we are not getting it.

DL had a rough game but when the other side comes out that much more emotionally jacked up than you this is what's going to happen.

Damn. We can still have a good season but damn.

tough loss fellas. But seriously, nobody looks dominant right now. You probably drop to #8 or #9, couple teams lose, and who knows, you could be right back in there.

If you guys didn't see the difference in TP in this game from others like it I don't know what football team you're watching. This team was dominated for an entire half and was down 3TDs at one point and I saw more pressure plays converted by TP and the offense in this game than I have in probably all of TP's starts combined.

Terrelle made mistakes, but he AND the offense showed us all what they're made of in this game. No rolling over. Definitely a talented group that just showed up to this game an hour and a half late.

Don't put words in my mouth....I said he has grown a lot, just that he is not yet all the way there...The throws at the end of the game were just not where they needed to be....he was holding the ball a long time looking for the big play instead of getting the ball down the field to someone open.

For everyone that's calling out the O-line or TP or the coaches take a step back and look through the frustration at what happened in the second half of this game. The determination through adversity that the offense showed and the ability to make adjustments that the defense showed were outstanding. Wisky wasn't a slouch and we all know that. Lack of fire cost this team a 21-0 spot. There isn't much a team can do to completely wipe that kind of a lead against a good team, but into the 4th quarter this team had a shot to do it. Even late into the 4th there was a sliver of hope still remaining.

Yes this loss sucked.

I still think there were a lot of positives in this game.

A perfect storm. Special teams gets gashed to get us down early. Defensive line manhandled most of the night and we just don't have the kind of offense that will thrive in a game like that. I was encouraged that they didn't lay down after halftime.

Sweat played pretty well, Boom ran with heart and Sanzenbacher is just a gutsy kid.

Better team won tonight. It happens.

They were barely on the field in the third quarter and beginning of the fourth....

I think the whole game wore them out. That 1st half was a killer.

Injuries finally took a toll on the defense.

The offense played well for the most part but of course they're going to get most of the blame from jackass fans.

Injuries don't help, but it sounds like an excuse. This game was lost in the first quarter. Giving up a kickoff return TD is bad enough, but getting steamrolled into the end zone by their offense the first time they have it is worse. We were down 14-0 before we did anything, pretty much forcing us to play perfect football the rest of the game.

Wiscy was ready to play at kickoff. Give them credit. They deserved to win tonight. I hate those fucking cheeseheads.

This one hurts because it's the last legit shot we will have at a NC for a couple of years (with the graduations in mass at season's end), and we will have to wait for the new group of kids to grow up. I honestly thought this was our best shot since 07 to win the big one.......it's going to be hard to get excited about going to another non NC BCS Bowl again. That isn't the team's fault at all, but rather we've been a pretty spoiled fan base with all of the success we've had.

Oh well I am proud of how the kids fought back tonight........showed some real sack in that 2nd half. Also congrats to wisky. They played one hell of a good game tonight
