Game Thread tOSU at Wisconsin, Sat, Oct 16, 7:00 ET; ESPN

Wish we had 11 Sanzo`s on the offense. This kid leaves it all on the field every game. We can`t wait to get going in the 3rd quarter. We lost the game in the trenches, which always leaves an empty feeling in my stomach considering how much talent we have. Wisky was the more physical team tonight on both sides of the ball. How good is Michigan State?....and Dantonio. Go Bucks

If you guys didn't see the difference in TP in this game from others like it I don't know what football team you're watching. This team was dominated for an entire half and was down 3TDs at one point and I saw more pressure plays converted by TP and the offense in this game than I have in probably all of TP's starts combined.

Terrelle made mistakes, but he AND the offense showed us all what they're made of in this game. No rolling over. Definitely a talented group that just showed up to this game an hour and a half late.

I'll disagree to a certain extent. To me, Pryor looked tentative for the entire first half - as if he just wasn't quite ready to be the true leader of the offense against a good Big Ten team on the road.

When the Buckeyes found their bearings last year, it wasn't because of Pryor's playmaking but because of the running of Herron & Saine. Again tonight, the offense didn't find itself until they started getting the ball to Boom Herron. When Wisconsin scored again in the 4th quarter, that took the ball back out of Boom's hands and Pryor went back to looking less than sharp.

As much as it pains me to say, Pryor still isn't quite to the point where he can be the go-to guy against good teams. He needs to play off of the running game and broken plays to make an impact against good teams and good defenses.

Wiscy was ready to play at kickoff. Give them credit. They deserved to win tonight. I hate those fucking cheeseheads.

This.

The team we saw in the second half is the team that's going to make it to the Rose and clobber the shit out of someone. They picked one hell of a game to take a half off, but you can almost guarantee it doesn't happen again.

This one hurts because it's the last legit shot we will have at a NC for a couple of years (with the graduations in mass at season's end), and we will have to wait for the new group of kids to grow up. I honestly thought this was our best shot since 07 to win the big one.......it's going to be hard to get excited about going to another non NC BCS Bowl again. That isn't the team's fault at all, but rather we've been a pretty spoiled fan base with all of the success we've had.

Spoiled is right, it seems, as millions of fans would kill to play in a BCS bowl. Now a non-NC BCS bowl is a downer? I want to win it all too but it's not a realistic perspective to see anything less as a bad season.

A Rose Bowl is nothing to sneeze at. Unfortunately, we need help to get there now. All we can do is rebound and get some payback on Purdue next week.

Fuck Bucky. They were better tonight. I am really proud of the way the team fought back! And almost got it done. We came out a little flat. Quiet confidence is good, but man, sometimes 'ya gotta get fired up (which they did in the 2nd half - just too little too late). Wisky's game plan was good - I did not think they would be able to control the LOS and run like they did.

Hmm, how to sum up. Oh, here's a thought; Fuck Bucky.

Well said. Rose bowl hopes are still great. Bigger possibilities could be awaiting as well. This is college football after all.

How do you know this? Do you have a crystal ball? You're obviously too young to remember the "Super Sophs".

This isn't aimed directly at you. It's just your post that set me off.

Enjoy the season for what it is. A roller coaster ride of emotions and some great (and sometimes not so great) football from my favorite team. There is nowhere I'd rather be on football Saturdays than at Ohio Stadium watching the Buckeyes play. I drive 1000 miles a weekend to home games for the privilege of watching them play live and will do it rain or shine, win or lose for years to come.

Flat out the supposedly best dline in Ohio State History got knocked backwards all game long and there was nothing that could be done, thats really all it was no pressure on throws and they just got shoved aside on runs. Dont know what to say dont know what went wrong.

I never really like Wisky with Alveraz, and I hate them even more now. However, should they go to a bowl game, they better not fucking disappoint.

How great would it be if Iowa somehow took out both Bucky and Sparty for us?

Why did we punt with 6 minutes left and down two possessions? I quit watching at that point...

I love Tressel and i think he is an amazing coach but sometimes i just dont understand how passive some of his calls are. I seriously didnt get the soft CB coverage at the line, i think they really need to man-up and learn to play man to man better. I think pryor still has a ways to go in passing into tight spots..It seems like they avoided the passing game in the red zone (although that 2-pt pass was awesome)

Oh I saw plenty of differences I saw us driving back after getting down big. I saw us come close to pulling in the lead. However I also saw him on that last drive holding on to the ball way to long. I saw some promising things as he had a bad half in the first and played a great half in the second. he threw the ball well and found the open man. However they still need to work on him with the 2 minute drill.

I wonder if Grad's ban stats tonight matched the Purdue game. He must have been a busy guy, because the flow of the posts in the entire game thread were very reasonable over all...

...unlike the nuclear meltdown clusterfuck that is tonight's Gator board.
