My wife has decided on her own to have a party during the Wisconsin game at our house. She then thought it would be a good idea if a couple of Wisconsin fans she knows from work would attend.

I asked her what the fuck was she thinking and walked out of the room.

I didn't get to see the whole game, but from what I saw, they were much, much improved. Not where they need to be, but there was (at least) progression, which really hasn't happened before this week.

They had much fewer 3-and-outs, which have been maddening to watch. Always a good thing when they can generate yards consistently. The last series showed that they can play smashmouth when they want to, and run the clock out.

Braxton can make plays with his feet, even against superb defenses. I hope they don't have to keep running him 20 times a game, but 10-15 plays a game should get him enough yardage.

LOVED the quick screens. We actually executed them. Not always the most explosive plays, but again, good to see us throw them at Michigan State.


They have a long ways to go, but you gotta feel like at the end of the year, they are gonna be an unreal force to be reckoned with.

Michigan State claims that Ohio State doctored game film of its offense that it sent the Spartan staff prior to their recent game. MSU defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi says OSU cut off pre-snap motions and shifts before plays of its first four games. Never mind that Michigan State also had film of Ohio State from the Buckeyes? first four opponents.

My point: Why bring this up, Michigan State? It looks like whining. And, I wonder: Would the Spartans had mentioned this if they had beaten Ohio State? I think trying to tackle Braxton Miller was more of an issue for Michigan State than any alleged film doctoring.
