Game Thread tOSU at Sparty - Sep 29, 3:30 ET, ABC

The Big Ten has apparently reviewed the film and decided not to hand down any punishments although I don't have a link to that so it may not be true (the fact that it is this late in the week with no announced action does seem to indicate that nothing will be done, though).

Either way, the eye gauging thing is a joke unto itself if it goes unpunished, but I thought this play was equally as dirty.

And just for the record, this is the hit that Kurt Coleman was suspended for a few years ago.

They are, at best, equally dirty hits but in my biased opinion #9 on MSU was actually trying to hurt someone (which he did, his own player) while Coleman was not.

Enforcement of rules and player safety jokes all around.

I think Coleman's hit warranted some disciplinary action. However, at least his actions were football actions. That guy from Sparty was going after eye balls and shit, purposely trying to hurt a play with a non-football move. That's completely uncalled for and shouldn't be a part of the game. The fact that it's going unpunished is embarrassing. Fucking chump-ass little brother!

So the neighbors flag that had been...disfigured - in some odd way, with a Buckeye heavy community, figured out which residence the prankers hail from.

Like any grown man when accussed of something they did - I took a deep breath, looked him square in the eye then promptly placed the blame my roomate.

(who was not present at the time)

While I committed to nothing, I said it was only a possibility it could have been him. Since, you know... he is a rabid Buckeye and such.

Lesson learned. a) do not fly an enemy flag in unfriendly territory (or "territry if you're Steve Irwin) b) don't be a douche neighboor all the year 'round.

Still remember this as the game where William Gholston "got the wind knocked out of him."

Yep. Kid was face down on the ground and clearly unconscious. Looked like WWE where they pick the guys hand up 3 times to see if he's still awake.

Then he comes back in the game later and no one in the media ever said a fucking word.
