Tom Herman (Former Head Coach FAU Owls)

Wonder if OSU would look to promote Warriner and look at this guy for QB coach:

Is it a done deal, or not? I hear conflicting reports. I don't think it is a good move for him, personally. The Houston athletic director has come out and stated that 2 bowls out of 3 years is no longer "enough" at Houston. Seems like Houston has some inflated sense of self-worth.

Well, when you only have to get to 6-6 for the season to qualify for a bowl nowadays...

I think he can do better but it might be OK for a year or two to get his feet wet and make mistakes and learn. Wish him the.best but he would leave a huge signature performance behind if he was to kill bama on his.last game.

If there's something left to negotiate I think it has to do with his departure after the Sugar Bowl no matter what.

I get that they want him to recruit, but asking him to leave before finishing his job is frustrating.

You'd think the best and most effective recruiting he could do would be patrolling the sidelines for the National Championship on January 12th. Maybe, I'm looking at that selfishly, but that's some damn good exposure.
