14-0 gets you a National Championship whether you win a bunch of squeakers or whether you win them all by 50. Just ask Krenzel, Jenkins, Doss, Gamble, MoC, Wilhelm, Will Smith... I think you get the point...

I'll answer that question next Friday night, right after they host Boise State.

If they give the Spuds a good game and keep it close, we should look back and b e thankful the Team got past Toledo. The Rockets played Boise State tough last year IIRC and this year they are more experienced. Might go to that game.

Toledo was impressive today! They played with fire all day. They have very good talent and their defense was tough. They will win a lot of games and contend for the MAC Championship as long as their stars stay healthy.
This was good for this young team to be tested before Miami. The whole team will be better for it. :oh:

I have to think the late suspension of Jordan Hall hurt a lot this week. We need more explosion on offense. More playmakers.
Agreed. Philly Brown appears to be seriously injured, but I think Devin Smith can be a guy that stretches the field. That remains to be seen though. T.Y. Williams could be another deep threat, but his catching issues will keep him off the field in key situations.

As far as guys that you want to get in space with the ball, I think you'd look to Fields, Hall, Berry, and Rod Smith.

If Ohio State's offense doesn't improve dramatically, this could be a very long season.

Recall that New Hampshire put 22 on Toledo last week and Toledo left a lot on the field today. I think Boise State will hang more than 50 on Toledo.

Yes, my thoughts too.

There were guys open and opportunities out there that our offense is just not capitalizing on yet. Hopefully this offense starts gelling and gets better every week.

If they want to make the most plays, I think Braxton should be the guy. If they want a guy that won't make many mistakes but doesn't make that many plays, they should go with Bauserman. IMO, if you want to go far in your season, you choose the game changer, not the game manager. However, if they decide to go with Joe this week I'd understand why and I'll back him 100% against the crybabies.
