Perhaps he suffers from a curious variation of the Hoarder disorder--instead of collecting stray pets, he accumulates quarterbacks.

It will be a sad day, really, when the news footage finally airs showing the ASPCQ rescuing his little captives.

Calling it "work" is probably overrated--it's me.

(I had to occupy myself with something so I wouldn't gnaw my fingernails down to the elbows while waiting for Cleveland to come to their senses & take McCoy.)

I am foolishly going with Gruden and Belichick's estimation over your far superior prognostication abilities.

The best part about this is the Belichick comment. He said he liked Tebow and that Tim has ability. Being that McDaniels hails from that coaching tree its almost like he's trying to take a project QB (ala Brady) and turn him into gold. One- up'ing the master. The only problem is Brady was a 6th round pick who had played in a pro-system his entire collegiate career.

It would be hilarious to know if Bill did this just to see if his young coaching protege' in Denver would be dumb enough to make a move on somebody who he gave a false opinion about. (TT)

I like Timmy myself. Strong character, great competitor, but this is by and large a huge marketing gimmick. Nothing more and nothing less. How many dual threat QB's playing in a similar system go in late rounds to undrafted? What makes Tim so special? Because he's worked on proper throwing mechanics for 3 months? Nothing but a minor circus act here folks. The winner being Tim, he gets 1st round scratch to be a backup QB (maybe even 3rd string) and/or short yardage back his entire career. Good for him.

Congratulations, Denver Broncos. You just drafted the first ever first round Mr. Irrelevant.
...

Why does everyone feel the need to make excuses for Tebow? He's a big boy and he's now a professional with millions of dollars involved, so why is it necessary for anyone in the media to apologize after saying anything remotely negative about the Gator legend?

"Tebow needs about three to five years before he can be considered a possible NFL quarterback, and even then his muscle memory from years and years of bad mechanics and poor passing skills will still likely catch up to him. But he's the type of guy you'd like to marry your daughter. In fact, if he wants to marry my daughters right now, fine by me. He's so special and is such a positive influence around a locker room that he can marry my son, too. Actually (dropping down to one knee), Tim, will you marry me? Get out of the way, Urban. Tim, come lead my football team. I don't care that you lock on to one receiver like Gabourey Sidibe on a Double Down, just forgive me for questioning your drop down throwing motion. Tim ... TIM!!!"

Tim Tebow sets jersey sales record for NFL draftee | Gatorsports.com

NEW YORK — Tim Tebow already has surpassed one of the records
Mark Sanchez set as a rookie quarterback with the New York Jets last season.

A first-round pick of the Denver Broncos, Tebow sold more jerseys during the
National Football League’s draft weekend than any other rookie or current player.

While the league doesn’t disclose sales totals, the former University of Florida
quarterback logged the most jersey orders since 2006, the first year NFLShop.com
joined with GSI Commerce Inc. to expand its online store. Tebow’s sales totals
eclipsed the previous draft-weekend record of Sanchez, who in 2009 was the
first quarterback taken by the Jets with a top-five pick since Joe Namath.

“It’s a pretty substantial difference between him and the next guy,” NFL
spokeswoman Joanna Hunter said of Tebow’s jersey sales.

They were running a deal. If anyone in jort nation still had their old Danny Wuerffel Saints jersy they could trade it in on a new Tebow model.

Aww...Jax....man....is that the best you can do? :p

Seriously, things are looking up for you. I had Tim pegged for the Jags and you jumping off the bridge into the St. Johns to end it all two hours later. :slappy:

I am simply shocked and amazed they didn't take him.

Tebow holding a clipboard > 3 monster truck rallies + 1 outdoor hunting expo

ticket sales would have been huge.

Tim Tebow #15 is #1 overall

In jersey sales, that is.

NEW YORK -- Tim Tebow already leads the NFL in one category: jersey sales.

His Denver Broncos No. 15 was by far the most popular on the NFL's website for April. His celebrity clearly trumps the debate over whether he'll ever make it as an NFL quarterback after winning the Heisman Trophy and two national championships at Florida. Tebow is, at best, third on Denver's depth chart at QB. But the 25th pick of the first round still had the best-selling rookie jersey since the NFL started keeping track in 2006. Thirty percent of the orders came from Florida.

I guess if it's blue and orange and says Tebow on it, nobody down in Gainesville cares what team it represents.
