I'm still shocked that someone with presumably some position of authority at UF came up with this idea. I'm even more surprised that the idea was accepted and approved.

Tebow is a polarizing figure for reasons that are beyond me. He's a good kid with a strong background - and he just happens to be one of the best college football players ever. I have no reason to hate this man.

Having said that, the Broncos may have trumped Al Davis in draft stupidity yesterday - for all of the reasons already mentioned. Josh McDaniels must think very highly of himself to believe he will be able to turn Tim Tebow into a solid NFL quarterback.

What I can't figure out is OK, you trade Cutler and get Orton, but apparently you aren't satisfied with him...so you trade Hillis for Quinn, but apparently only to get, I dunno, a showpiece or something, because then you trade up to take Tebow in round 1...who I think even Gator will agree has little chance of playing right away...so who the F does that leave playing QB in Denver?

He will start and will be voted be MVP of the Super Bowl win next year. Anyone who does not think so is a racist! :pissed:






and I think two years of clipboard holding with the Patriots or Vikings would have been a better idea until he is ready to attempt to lead an NFL team :wink2:
