I'm looking forward to this lofty art project being completed.

Imagine all the hubbub when the first miracle occurs and the statue is seen crying real human tears. Hucksters coast-to-coast will be hawking vials of Tebow tears on cable TV every morning at 4AM. One drop and you are guaranteed to be purer, holier and, it goes without saying, faster.

I've got dibs on the Jacksonville franchise. I just got back from the downtown fireworks show and counted no less than 6 Bronco jerseys with "Tebow" on the back.

:shake:

NFL's top-selling jersey is...

Tim Tebow, AP

Broncos rookie quarterback Tim Tebow has yet to throw a pass in an NFL game, but he is already No. 1 in the league in at least one category. The rookie, one of the two first-round picks for the Broncos in this past April's draft, had the league's top-selling jersey between April 1 and June 30. The figures were tabulated only for merchandise sold on the league's website NFLShop.com.

True story. I was in Vegas recently and on the way home, going through security at the airport there was a guy who I noted reeked of alcohol, and after I got through security, I turned around and saw that he (after himself having passed through security) had lifted up his shirt in an attempt to re-attach his fanny pack. He was having quite the struggle in getting the fanny pack attached, given the enormous size of his gut. At any rate, what, you ask, was he wearing? You guessed it--a Tebow jersey. He embodied perfectly what I would think of when I pictured the type of person who would buy a Tebow jersey.

That is the point.

Had it been a LeBron jersey he would have vomited on the floor and then made a sexual pass at you.

The fifteen minutes with his Tebow jersey kept you all safer. :banger:

LMAO. I've only lived here since November. Grew up in New Albany. Back when it was a country town. Lived in Kentucky, across the pond in England, and in the Cincy and Dayton area. Other than athletes themselves, I don't think i've ever seen a fit person in a jersey......LOL

but thanks for the heads up
