And very few of them won the Heisman, set the SEC touchdown record, or have two MNC rings. Which is what the Draddy is about - in part. So while you are talking about how [censored]ty an accomplishment 25 per week is, and since we are not limiting the discussion to the actual Draddy nominees, why not give me the amount of community service hours your qbs put in? Has to be at least 25 per week, as that feat is no big thing for an in demand BCS conference QB, what with practice, games, travel, and off season work..right?

We've already established that time spent doing tequila shot's off hookers' navels counts, right?

This past week I was in Panama City Beach for spring break. A bunch of different groups had set up flags representing their respective schools on the beach. After the end of the booty shaking contest on Friday signified the end of the week's festivities on the main stage, a battle of wits erupted around the Tennessee flag, mostly between OSU and UT fans. OH-IO was met by whatever nonsense I was too drunk to remember the UT clowns chanting. Ohioans from a bunch of different schools (Miami, Youngstown State, Toledo, etc.) responded with the likes of "Where's Lane Kiffin?" and "Who's your coach". Needless to say things were getting pretty heated, and after witnessing an extremely intense girl-fight ever the day before, I figured it was only a matter of time before it came to blows. But then, seemingly out of nowhere, both sides (and many onlookers from other states) united in a "Fuck Tim Tebow" chant, after which a fine UT coed volunteered to show me her bunk bed. So thanks, Timmah, for helping get this buckeye laid this week. 'God bless'.

Did the UT co-ed have a large Adam's Apple? Was her last name Orgeron?

What school do you go to? We still have finals so I hope you're not a buckeye.

Tim Tebow's passing workout is still going on. There is a crowd of approximately 1,000 people on hand cheering his every move. Tebow started slow in the early going then picked up the pace. The consensus is, while he's showing a good amount of accuracy and is completing his passes, he has thus far shown poor arm strength and his passes do not come in the form of tight spirals.

Has there ever been an athlete who has had so many people (nationwide) rooting for his complete and utter failure?

Little bit different situation - but I believe he qualifies:

Todd McShay just made an even bigger mockery of himself, describing Tebow's performance as "a huge improvement" & 'compact kept coming to his mind' :slappy:, when in reality, it basically looked like the old Tebow throwing motion despite all of the hype about transforming it. Tim didn't pretend like he's there yet. There was a mild difference but not a meaningful one.

Needs the right system. He'd of done great in the old Niner's offense. Montana did not have a gun, and he rarely threw a pass more than twenty yards in the old West Coast Offense. And I could see Tim trying to "guide" them a little bit today rather than chuck them, trying to keep within his month or so new physical memory parameters.

I think that Tim will become a successful QB three to five years from now. He has the size and strength to be successful ( pardon me, but he has large hands to grip the ball and a strong arm - four years of actual football mean more than some twitter about no arm strength), and more importantly he has an almost obsessive drive to succeed. Nobody will outwork him. Nobody will out study him. His teammates will like him, he can participate in special teams and wildcat situations, he will bring in ticket sales.

Someone needs to give Tim a less than generous package as a project, one that is laden with incentives. If it takes two hundred throws per day on a scout team, Tim will do it and not worry about the "disrespect". He is no prima donna. Only the old guys know about Joe Kapp, but he is like Joe was, a tough guy and a winner. Tebow has better athletic skills than Joe did, but is every bit as tough, and very much the team leader.

I agree he is not polished or a prototypical NFL QB, but I would not bet against his ultimate success for many reasons.
