Tiger Woods (Offical Thread)

And it does...major league significantly. Golf isn't like other sports that can absorb the loss of their biggest player. Hell even the NBA suffered when Jordan left (both times) and they're in a much better position (or were) to deal with that than golf is.
maybe golf shouldn't have built their entire sport on the back of one assho.....er.....guy.

True, but there really aren't the personalities out there that there used to be. The same thing has happened in men's tennis. The play is good but it is usually boring as fuck because no one knows who half the players are that doesn't watch the tour every week. The days of Nastase, Connors, Borg, McEnroe, and Lendl contending for every major are long over, and the same can be said for the PGA, which basically only had one name near the top of every major...Tiger. He was their mealticket because no one else has been able to rise to the occasion to challenge him. No more Nicklaus, Seve, Kite, Watson, Player, and Palmer. Being #1 by double the score of the #2 guy kind of reinforces that too.

Am I the only person in the world that could give a rats ass about where Tiger stuck his dick? I just don't have any interest in this story. None.
I think you miss the point. It's clear to me that until Tiger knows where he stands with Elin and his family, he's not returning to the Tour. And that's what I care about.
