Tiger Woods (Offical Thread)

Right on.

What really pisses me off about the whole situation is that it lends credibility to TMZ as an actual news outfit rather than the conglomeration of degenerate soul-less mouth-breathers that it really is.

You're just upset about this:

TMZ: 30 OCTOBER 2009

Several children were molested last evening while innocently trick or treating for Halloween candy.

The molester was described as a very large bunny - with a pancake on its head.

Police are investigating.

Don't fuck with the TMZ.

Not upset at all when someone reports the truth. Little bastards were asking for it by dressing up as picnic tables.

You sick bastard!!!

Tiger didn't postpone the meeting with the cops, he said he wanted to 'table' the discussion. I think he has the same sickness as BK.

It seems to me that his PR advisors aren't doing him any favors in having him cancel talks with the cops again.

Cops Pursue Warrant in Woods Case | TMZ.com

seems like they have reason to believe two crimes could have occured. domestic violence or DUI. both seem to be cause to obtain a warrant.

Anybody still think Tiger is being given special treatment?

It is very rare for law enforcement to seek a warrant for potential domestic violence if its clear the alleged victim does not want to pursue it.

However, with respect to the DUI investigation, law enforcement will typically attempt to obtain lab reports from the hospital. So that's not unusual.

In Ohio, at least, the physician-patient privilege has generally been abrogated with respect to DUI investigations. Therefore, Tiger's lab reports could be his undoing here, depending on Florida law.

so how is a chick chasing and beating her husband with a golf club not worthy of investigation?

because if the spouse doesn't want to press charges, there is no investigation typically. Have you ever watched the show Cops? There are domestic disputes all the time in which officers implore victims to charge their attacker, but if they don't they drive away and say into the camera..."hopefully she smartens up or the abuse stops".

It's rare that police open an investigation into domestic abuse unless it's high profile. Typically they take the word of the victim (in this case Tiger) and leave it at that. But I don't see how they can't open an investigation in this scenario with the evidence that is already out there and potential DUI charges.
