Explain to me how Phil is a cry baby?
Maybe it's because I am not a big fan of him so maybe the characterization of him being a "cry baby" doesn't fit but he is so false it borders on the ridiculous. She could miss a 6" putt for a Major on the 18th hole and walk off smiling. Also, every time he is paired with Tiger he comes out on the short end and his record for a big tournaments it is not very stellar for a guy who is supposed to be so good.

Phil is by far one of the most courteous and down to earth players on the tour. He isn't a smart ass like Ian Poulter (Love the outfits lol, but he's a douche) and Rori Sabatini (Biggest douche on tour with Singh in 2nd). He enjoys what he does, and even if you don't like the guy, you at least have to admit he's a class act. Not sure if you've caught on yet or not, but I'm a big lefty fan. And sure he's blown some tourney's, who hasn't? And I'm pretty sure Phil isn't the only one that dreads playing against Tiger. Tiger could be/is the greatest golfer of all time. The guy is amazing.

Phil is a very nice guy to fans and media, but don't mistake that for not being an arrogant guy on the course. He's extremely competitive and hates Tiger as much as Tiger hates him. My favorite story is not a well known one. One time at Augusta Phil was about to tee off early with a few guys for a practice round. Tiger likes to play very early, sometimes by himself, and get out of there before anyone shows up. So he walks up to the tee and says to Phil that he is going to tee off and get out of their way. Phil told him if he tees off in front of his group (you sign up for practice round tee times generally) he will tee up a driver and hit it right up his ass as he is walking away. I believe Tiger waited.

Tiger returning next week.

Should be interesting to see how he comes out since it's been so long since the last time he played. I'm not expecting him to be 100% back to his game yet, but hopefully this surgery doesn't do a number on him, and he can get back to the way Tiger was.

he's had plenty of time to work on his short game, so i really don't expect him to play too bad. usually when players have to take a long break their short game falls apart, but he practiced that a lot because it was all his leg could support.

After watching yesterday, I didnt think Tiger would be able to challenge this week. His swing looked a little loose to me. He still hit some great shots, but the consistency wasn't there. What else can you expect right? This was by far the highlight of the tournament.
