Thread of What You've Eaten, Cooked and/or Drunk Lately

Just got back from a 17 day cruise to Australia/NZ. One of aspects of cruising are the dining experiences. Our accommodations included 'specialty' dining at two restaurants. One was primarily red meat, and the other fine dining. Family exhausted both menus pretty early, and then after golfing, came back after usual places closed, went to the cafe (cafeteria) for dinner. German night! So, had me a couple of wursts (knockwurst and bratwurst), saurerbrauten, cabbage, was very content. Then, family went to sushi night. Not as elegant or involved as places at home we go to, but acceptable given the country-wide attendance on the ship. They even had chopsticks (surprising). Since returning, am working off the ten pounds that I easily gained. First time we did a cruise, daughter asked the waiter, which dessert should is better - his answer, why not have them both! Her eyes got very wide etc. We enjoy the smaller ships, about 625 max, rather than the 4-5,000 cattle cars with 28 dining options and required dining times. Many choices, and very tasty food.
