I had a fully loaded burrito(chili relleno) from a local Mex drive threw and had to make an "emergency" stop twenty minutes later(woods short hike) that burned a hole in my ass! Yea. That can happen. Now I can tolerate just about anything but locale posole! Do not attempt to eat a bowl of posole or you will die!

Here's the thing. You can buy Hatch chili marked "medium" or even" hot" and you just don't know what you'll get! I have jars of chili marked "medium" and some are as hot as a jalapeno! Or not very hot at all!

Whoa Nellie! These mofos are hot--more along the line of a serrano if not hotter. Didn't expect that (chile relleno is off the menu). Roasted and froze them but saved one to play around with. Will throw a couple dices on a burger tonight. They'll make one mean chile verde that's for sure..

It would have been a waste to just make a ristra of them! A green chili chicken stew is a great warmer upper!

Just made a Peach/Blueberry crumb pie with local Red Haven peaches and Bluecrop blueberries....

And for the record I’ve never had one peach from the peach state that I would take over a Red Haven.....
