Thread of What You've Eaten, Cooked and/or Drunk Lately

@Thump Breakfast served! I took my rib eye, trimmed off a thumb sized piece of fat and stuck it in the air fry for 20 minutes, rendering it's delicious and healthy tallow for frying me some taters with onions, yellow chiles and chorizo. Diced up the rib eye fine because I can't be trusted to chew my food. DEEEEE-LICIOUS!!!!

Much better photo!

Doesn’t look like you took the pic in hurricane winds.

Looks great Dub....serve it to me with a shovel, not a fork. Also opine that it took five times as long to create as to consume. All the best dishes do. The more onions and garlic, the better......IMHO.
This is pretty typical of the brunch I eat on my days off. It's usually my only meal of the day and it goes heavy on the protein, good fats and some potato, onion and chile for good measure. Then I add about 4 eggs. The other protein is either bacon, sausage or chorizo . Not as fancy as some of these recent fine dinning dishes but I'm going for nutrition and efficiency. If you eat the right foods you actually end up eating less

Have better luck with street tacos than the above. Golf club does a mean Taco Tuesday setting, but after hot (temp) golf round, scarf them down, usually without tasting them much. But know that they're not lard-laden. Also trying to stay 'fried-free' as much as possible.

My tacos are very healthy minus the tortillas. I marinate skirt steak in some oil, oranges, salt, pepper, onion, garlic and perhaps cumin and chili powder. I roll it up, cook it in the air fryer for about 15 minutes so it's dark on the outside but still retains some medium rareness on the inside. Dice it up and mix it with freshly diced onion, cilantro, avocado and a salsa of choice. I usually just heat the tortillas in a pan with minimal oil but I have to admit, a nice friend hard taco is delicious.
