It's the best series I have ever watched. While I would love more, it ended at the right time. The first few seasons were like a really long, really great movie. Yet the last season was not as good as the rest, and ended at the right time.

I have to take a spin through the series at least once a year. It's one of those shows where you can start a season and not want to get up off the couch to do anything until you've finished it.

I just watched the miniseries The Corner on HBO on demand. This is the mini series on HBO that launched the same people to create The Wire. Powerful powerful ending on The Corner.
To complete my obsession, I just ordered the book Homicide by David Simon. Then I'll probably watch that show.

I use to watch Homicide Life on the streets every Friday night when I was about 8 or 9. Andre Braugher (black dude from Men of a certain age) was so good when he use to interrogate people, on of my favorite actors had a pretty good show on FX never made it past season 1. I loved Homicide still watch reruns every now and again.
