I don't know if that is ironic. More like expected. She was a part of the Baltimore gang scene before being on The Wire, and was pretty cast due to her involvement in illegal activities (the actor that played Omar "discovered" her and brought her to the set). She pretty much played herself on the show.

Although being nailed on a wire tap is a bit ironic, yet I would label that more in the category of stupidity.

I've been slowly working my way through season five and have only three episodes left. I don't want to admit that I'm almost done with this series. I think The Wire has to be the greatest TV series ever. Bring it back!

I haven't checked in a couple weeks, though they definitely were not down at least four or five eps into Game of Thrones. Meh, I got rid of cable after Game of Thrones anyway. I don't really need it during the summer.
