The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

I keep hoping that he meets up with his brother... from the Boondock Saints.

Rumor has it they are actually talking about doing a Saints tv show, prolly on HBO or Showtime. Not sure how I feel about that at the moment. Was such a huge fan of the first movie that I kinda liked the second one by default, even though it was nowhere near as good of course. But he and Sean Patrick Flannery both said they would be up for continuing the series.

I was laughing at the show last night. It has really gone down the cheese path. I am going to continue watching this season just because I really have nothing better to do on Sunday night at 9pm.

So, Grimes wifey is prego, most likely with Shane's kid since she made it clear she wants Shane to stay with the group. Nerd guy is getting some from farmer's daughter in the middle of a looted Pharmacy where "walkers" could hone in on the grunts and groans (yeah, that was a well thought out decision), and I think farmer's daughter is looking to maybe get prego herself. Almost can gaurantee that the 'walker" in the well is a family member/farm hand, and the daughter knew full well that the water from there was tainted ("There are five wells on the property, the house is connected to #1, but you can you use #2 and take all you want." Why not tell them where the other wells are?)

This is quickly heading down "The Killing" path, I am sorry to say. :(

Eh, give the 2 at the pharmacy a break, it's not like the walkers could find them in 38 seconds

Farmer slut is really hard to figure, she's all into the Asian dude the last 3 episodes, then she does him, pretends afterwards like she doesn't even know him (practically) and then tries to poison them all with the tainted well water...yet was also there when they, uh, excavated it. I figured they used condoms since the dude had a pack in his hand, but I guess she could have been trying for preggers...after all the old dude at the farm was rattling on about children being the "most precious resource" and all of that. One wonders about this crazy family though. Is Sophia already there and being held against her will? Are they going to try and keep Karl? Are they trying to hoard kids a la 28 Days Later to breed the New World Order? And how the hell can one simple fence keep out a mass of walkers? A lot doesn't make sense...hopefully they don't go all Killing and cop out by insulting the audience and then expect everyone to tune in next year.

And this plot line was been ignored for too long as well.

THERE ARE FOUR MORE WELLS! :slappy:

Seriously, you DON'T have to get the zombie out of the well. There ARE four more, you know? You certainly don't have to dangle somebody into the well to try to harness it. You could use a chicken or a rabbit or something instead of a person. Although it's all pretty silly when you consider that there are four other wells on the property.

Did I mention that there are FOUR MORE FUCKING WELLS?

Agreed. Had to watch this week's episode last night and I kept thinking to myself, what is the point of this? I'm even aware of what is "odd" about the family at the farm--assuming they keep to the original plot--and the entire well scene is not needed for developing future lines.

If the zombie was that bloated from being in the well, his skin would be like tissue paper and they would have just pulled up the bones and muscles.

I figured out last season that i could watch an episode in almost 30 mins by fast forwarding thru the stupid dialogue ( and i was never lost plot wise). This season its down to like 20 mins. if this show keeps going the way it is and i cant have anymore Breaking Bads. I'll be done with AMC.

The pace this season is just GRUELING!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, did we need 30 minutes of Darryl climbing up a cliff talking to his missing brother? We get it, he's got a human side.

At least we confirmed our suspicions about the barn.

So in a show about "THE WALKING DEAD," we only see two walkers in this episode until the last 30 seconds of the show. Come on, people.

I mean, let's not use stereotypes when writing this show...I mean it's not like there's an over-hormonal, semi-attractive, completely impulsive blonde who is lucky she is a lousy shot :slappy: :slappy: :slappy:

So we've got the dead farm family in the barn...seems anti-climatic the way they've slllooowwwwwllllly build shit the last 4 episodes. I mean it's not like Herschel is going to feed them to them, though with half of them I'd be more than happy if he did. Shane just either needs to die or go postal, he's starting to piss me off royally. Tough to act like Rambo and then be all like "All I care about is keeping you and Carl safe...sniff" Have a nice tall glass of fuck you juice.

The "swimmer" coming apart in the well was probably the funniest moment in the whole series! :sick1:
And Andrea going all "Annie Oakley" on Daryll was the highlight!
Zombies in the barn! Knew that was coming.
