The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

This show is ridiculous, but I will continue to watch it because, even if it's only one zombie attack per episode, that's still one more than every other show on tv.

I'll keep watching it because my wife makes me. But seriously. The acting and dialogue is so bad it causes me physical pain.

I think the implication was that he wasn't a zombie yet when he hanged himself, and was such fresh meat for the zombies who could reach his legs.

I guess that makes sense. Except wouldn't he have died almost immediately and turned into a zombie? Meh, whatever.

Anyway, the acting is okay, I neither do or do not care for most characters except for two: I totally like the sleeveless "hillbilly" guy with the crossbow

Right. The most likeable character is the neo-nazi redneck. How bad must the other characters be?

I'm still holding out hope that some awesomeness ensues from here on out...but it's dwindling by the week. I bet the creepy farmhouse family has Sophia and are hiding her somewhere to keep the others around. Though, why you'd want to keep some of these stupid fucks around is beyond me.

Also, they never miss. I have never fired a gun, but my understanding is that it is very difficult to be accurate with a handgun, especially while running and being chased by zombies.

But in this show, every shot (or bolt) is Boom! Headshot!

Boom! Headshot!

Hi, I'm a housewife who's never held a gun before! BOOM HEADSHOT!

Anyone think they were keeping the ghoul in the well on purpose for some reason? Something seems significantly off about this family.

This epsiode pretty much sucked, too much emotional fluff, though the one-handed redneck is back next week it appears, so as JR might say "Business is about to pick up"

Yeah, this was the first episode where I was pretty much bored the whole time. When your 20 second teaser for next week is better than the entire 60 minute episode I just watched, you need to up your game.

but yeah, that broad looked a little to upset with that fatty getting shoveled upon exiting the well........
