The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

I'm wondering why they don't just go to Jekyl Island with their unlimited fuel and cars that were made after the apocalypse, barricade the one bridge, exterminate all walkers on the island and live well.
Well, yeah, there's that. I think I'd go with Sea Island, though. No point in just going middle-class.

Jekyl Island? Sea Island? Haven't you people ever heard of Whore Island?!?

I've only been to Jekyl. Did some fence installation there a while back. There was a Huddle House and a hotel restaurant that cooked up a pretty fucking great 28oz porterhouse. Call it whatever you want, I ate like a king.

Also, the hotel bar was WELL stocked. I'm sure the same is true for Sea Island's hotel bars, but in a zombie apocalypse situation, that's not a risk I'm willing to take.

Well, I didn't see that coming tonight. I'm guessing that we haven't seen the last of her at this point, a return at some point is probably in the cards.

It's somewhat interesting that the couple they found in the house has been surviving for some time, knows the area a bit, and in a few short hours they were toast on their own. Not to mention they each got a gun before they left, that should have increased their survival odds. I guess I was hoping they'd stick around, they were weird and hippy, much different than some of the characters at the prison.

Did they show if they actually found the guy? I remember them talking about him being dead at the car, after waiting for him in the house.

Carol will be back, and I think once Darryl is explained why Rick did what he did (basically to save her own life), he will respect it. But, I think that Darryl may also go looking for her.

Anyone else notice the nicely trimmed bushes and grass in front of the houses in that neighborhood? Those zombies keep pretty neat lawns.

I'm really liking Cutty. Tyrese. Whatever. I want him to take on another horde that inexplicably doesn't attack from behind.

Also, when Daryl got all up in D'angelo's face...what's up with that. It's like a writer that was homeschooled and had zero interaction with other humans wrote that scene.

I am guessing that at the end of the teaser midway show (the final show halfway through the season before they take their holiday break) we will see Carole roll into the governor's new abode. I agree about Darryl...they are shooting way too many of these awkward, sexually repressed scenes between he and Michonne where he chastises her for running off for them not to do something with it...my guess is Darryl AND Michonne will go out looking for Carole and fine the governor...but that is just a guess.

Carole is now a total sociopath ("it was a nice watch" pretty much put it over the top ) so Rick had to send her off...he basically saw what he pulled his own son back from at the end of last season. Thing is, he should have iced her, because he has to know she's going to go find the governor...and then bad things will happen.

At least there weren't a lot of "WTF" scenes this week from people who had nothing to do with anything...Carl, Apocalypse Barbie, etc. were just off camera, as it should have been. Though I will say there is no fucking way that 2 people, one of whom has a deformity that keeps her from moving fast, could ever survive when it takes them 6 shots to drop one walker

I agree Buck, I see those two going off looking for Carole who has some connection at that point to the Gubnah......too many references to him last episode for him not to return in the next few weeks

Hippie boy is going to pop up somewhere, and the fact that he knows where the prison is makes me think maybe that's what will happen......Carole, Hippie Boy, Gubnah and his new troops wherever he is could storm the jail while it's already weak, forcing them on the road again and to their new setting for next season.
