The Sopranos (Bada Bing)

This has been my theory for the whole season. I think T is getting ready to insulate himself to avoid getting brought in. Which as far as we know is not close to happening because the rats have been taken care of. Though it wouldn't suprise me to see Janice or even Carmella roll over on him. Janice especially.
It seems that it is the "lifestyle" that Vito misses most and will get him taken out which would be interesting if T doesn't do it. But won't happen. I do believe that he will be the one to do it. Hell maybe Vito will be the one to rat him out.
I can't wait though for this show to wrap up then maybe I can get to bed at a decent hour on Sunday nights.

Not quite when he says she doesn't deserve any of the money because she took off and left him with his mother.....why reward her now? In my eyes he didn't take care of Johnny Sack, he took advantage of the situation, but I don't blame him.

Tony was acting out of guilt with the house. Notice as he was observing his sister deal with her step son on the HW issue. He knows there is more to her than he gives her credit for. As I saw it he did not benefit from the house purchase, but passed that on to his sister.

I found it interesting (not pleasant, interesting) what they did with the intensity of Vito and the gay stuff. Sopranos has always been in your face be it violence, sex, or anything else. They weren't about to pull punches on homosexuality - even though you know few in their target demographic appreciated it. It is one of the things that makes this show great. They don't cater.

"You'll have to wait for that" and "You haven't been straight with me" were great lines IMO. Great acting, but Sopranos is all about the writers.

Which begs the question - who is hotter, Meadow or Vito? Should we do a poll?

Also thought it was interesting how they dealt with Vito and his violent nature. Man is out of his element in a quiet peaceful town for an extended period. Yet he is immediately ready to grab for the pipe when he got in a fight and did not hesitate to waste an innocent person who was going to call the cops after his traffic accident. Which raises another question. What was the threat there? Exposure? Looked like he was heading back to Jersey anyhow, so why kill the guy? It seemed to be more a matter of convenience and avoiding a hassle.

I think part of it was that Vito is impulsive. He was also drunk, which would've been a problem when the cops arrived.

Even though he was going back to Jersey, there is a difference between going back on your own terms (to people that might protect you) versus being found by people that won't protect you.

Damn-this episode was fuckin' awesome! And it was really only 2/3 of an episode, b/c the whole Carmela goes to Paris subplot was inane. The best part was when Phil was planning the funeral and the bodybuilding competition was on TV...that was hilarious....the shot of Phil coming out of the closet was great symbolism-and freakin scary ...Tony is right about concrete work curing AJ of being a little bitch-I did that for one summer, and it sucks....

HOW ABOUT VITO IN THE DOMER HAT???

I coulda died. Someone HAS to get a screen shot of that for farking. I mean that is just too tee'd up to fuck with the domers. Almost too easy.

Good eposode, still waiting for AJ to bust out. Something is brewing there.

Great episode.....

Tony just can't get away from who he is and the world he lives in. AJ is a lazy, spoiled brat. I loved it when Tony busted out his window and told him not to test him.

Phil is going to catch a bullet before its all over....

Carmela just can't let this Adriana thing go away....

Best part of the episode....no Janice.

Overall, a great episode. Can't wait until the season finale two weeks from now.

Sopranos and the writing - it doesn't really get much better.

Consider the visual irony of the scene in which Vito is taken down.

His judge - Phil - comes out of the closet to read him his sentence.

I think that blonde dancer just might get another ride home from Tony.

Yeah, but it looks like she spit into that tissue. You think Tony's gonna cheat on his wife again with a girl that doesn't swallow?

Best episode of the season. Anyone else shocked that Silvio hit that guy and ended him Goodfellas' style? He almost seemed like the calm, rational guy on the show that advised Tony to keep from doing stupid shit (like protecting his cousin). Now he's killing made guys from New York? Crazy....

... Looks like war is brewing. But always be on the lookout for the Feds. They show up just when you forget about them.
