Nope. The facts are the facts.
Nice try, though.

Now you’re just being arrogant from a position of utter foolishness
Which, of course, makes the rest of us think you’re from happy valley; not because we think of you as a rival, but because you’re that stupid.
My message you quoted was a reply to someone who apparently recognizes that PSU is OSU's #2 rival but likes to tell PSU fans that they're not a rival just to get under their skin. So apparently for some OSU fans it's not a matter of what they believe, it's just a matter of trash talk. You've clearly stated your position. The rest of the board has stated theirs.
No one is changing anyone's mind on this.
Why not just let it go?

Why do so many Buckeye fans openly express that, after Michigan, there's no one they'd rather beat, and no one they hate losing to, more than PSU? And then insist they're not a rival? Don't you find that at all peculiar? I mean, it's really not. It's basic sports fan psychology. Texas fans spend all day every day talking about everything Texas A&M does and how much they don't care about them.

It's like we're their Michigan. How can you not see that the dynamic is similar, it's just that we're on the winning end? They're like our Michigan State except that over the long term they're a much more formidable, and successful, opponent than the Spartans.Ohio State is not Penn State, that’s exactly the point. Penn State has had a massive inferiority complex the entire time they’ve been in the Big Ten.
I'm not sure you understand what it means to have an adult conversation. Your idea of an adult conversation seems to be akin to stamping your feet and shouting "They're not a rival!" repeatedly like a child throwing a tantrum.we've tried having an adult conversation with you
didn't have two willing/capable parties
have a nice Sunday and enjoy the win

If we were having an adult conversation then we could talk about the nature of rivalries and how they exist in the real world as seen by objective observers, not by sports fans who are too emotional for objectivity.
Let me guess...when OSU and Michigan were in separate divisions, you were fine with that and didn't see that as a threat to the rivalry at all. Am I right?

I hate Wisky more than I do the Pedsters. And not to mention, MSU has had a great number of close emotional games as well(with division and conference titles on the line), are they our rival to you as well?My message you quoted was a reply to someone who apparently recognizes that PSU is OSU's #2 rival but likes to tell PSU fans that they're not a rival just to get under their skin. #osupurivalrySince 2000 Penn State has the same amount of wins against OSU as Purdue.
